Outstanding! This one word summarizes every facet of Dr. Michael Metro’s expertise, professionalism, and caring attitude. It also applies to his entire support staff. I live in northern New Jersey. After having green light laser prostate surgery in NJ that did not achieve the expected results, it was obvious to me that I probably would need a second corrective surgery. I wanted to identify the very best surgeon, regardless of location. Accordingly, my search process was thorough. Dr. Michael Metro, who is affiliated with Temple University Hospital (TUH) in Philadelphia, was the standout physician. His credentials, experience, and testimonials were impressive. I therefore scheduled a consultation. He reviewed my prior records, capably answered all my questions, and provided me with a clear understanding of my options. The next logical step was to initiate an urethrocystogram, which was performed at TUH. It confirmed that surgery was necessary, and would be a… little complicated. The surgery which Dr. Metro performed was successful, and the recovery within the timeframe he projected. While my situation was not life-threatening, it clearly affected my quality of life. I would recommend Dr. Metro to anyone who has the need for a caring and expert urologist.

Almost two years of issues. Dr. Metro figured out the problem and didn’t give up until it was fixed. Absolutely the best!!!

I saw this doctor a few years ago for problems I was having from injury and he was of no help to me. For a Doctor that specializes in truama, he over looked problems I had and still have. I am glad I got a second opinion after seeing him. Seems to cater more towards older people.

I haven’t even met Dr. Metro, because it is 2:30 and I’m still waiting for my 1:15 appointment.
