I did his Genetic Diet and lost 56 lbs in just 42 days. Now I'm on the monthly program and I'm just amazed at how amazing I look and feel. I've sent two friends and they have also had awesome results. Dr. Nusbaum and his staff are the best!

His Cedar Knolls office is gorgeous. The staff is phenomenal. I can’t say enough about how happy I am. I did his Genetic diet and lost 40 lbs. I’m sending all of my friends to him. I follow his IG account, theweightlossdoctor and love the stories.

I am so grateful to Dr Nusbaum. I had a sleeve with NY Bariatrics and I never lost the weight. I should have known that something was wrong when I booked my appointment and they couldn't tell me exactly who the doctor I was meeting with would be. Needless to say the surgery didn't go well and no one would touch me after... that is until I met Dr Nusbaum. He reassured me that we would figure it out together. He did an upper endoscopy on me, figured out what was wrong and fixed me at St Barnabas. I am doing great now, almost at my goal weight and so thankful to him, his staff and the staff at St Barnabas. I had the gastric sleeve done with Dr. Nusbaum and his work was impeccable. From start to finish him and his team are just excellent. He looked at me the day of my surgery and promised me that he would NOT let me off that table until he knew everything was okay. My recovery has been amazing so far and at about 5 weeks out I have already lost 46 pounds. Dr. Nusbaum saves lives, and makes you feel safe and comforted the entire time.

I had previously had surgery with another doctor only to have complications. No one would even agree to see me let alone operate on someone else’s mistake. I heard of Dr Michael Nusbaum from a colleague who’s wife was a nurse in an operating room. He said that “everyone goes to Nusbaum because he’s the best.” I must say that he was right. Dr Nusbaum agreed to see me, operated on me, fixed the other surgeons mistake and I’ve been great ever since. I have been trying to think of a way to thank him. I pray for him and his skill every day. I am blessed to have found him. He’s the most compassionate doctor that I have ever met.

I had a Gastric Sleeve with Dr Nusbaum 9 months ago. I went from 286 lbs to 134 lbs at 5'5" and then did some Coolsculpting with him on the areas that just wouldn't go away. I couldn't be happier. His staff is amazing. They dealt with the insurance company and scheduled all my pre testing. After they saw me every month as my body transformed. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Dr. Nusbaum is caring and patient, doesn't rush you, will answer your questions. He sees you, and well as a PA and on-staff nutritionist before and for months after surgery. The office staff are very friendly, easy to work with, and even provide monthly support group meetings which I attended during my 6 month pre-op period and post surgery.

I initially went to the NY Bariatric Group because I kept seeing all of their ads. I found them to be impersonal and all about the money. So I asked a few friends and they all said Dr Nusbaum. I was surprised because he's not in the city but in NJ, but they said he was definitely worth it. I must say that they were absolutely correct. He's more of a concierge surgeon. Very high end clientele. I saw several celebrities in his office when I was there and his staff is outstanding. I had the sleeve with him, lost 110 lbs, feel amazing and recommend him to everyone in NYC!
