Dr. Michael E Obenshain, MD

Multiple errors in writing, refilling prescriptions. Letters with medical questions ignored, no response ( almost 8 months later) for transcripts of our medical records. YIKES!

Dr. Obenshain has made significant errors in writing/dispensing my RX's. My "physical" consisted of having a clerk take my weight, height, BP and pulse. Dr. O's only involvement was asking what prescriptions I needed to refill. Multiple formal requests for medical records have been unsuccessful. He has responded to none of my letters. I finally had to write to the GA Med. Assoc. and the Association of Medical Internists to request help.

Wonderful physician. Takes the time to listen to patients and cares.

Dr. O is so easy to talk with, appreciates humor, dispenses information so it's easy to understand and retain. Being a brand-new diabetic, I especially appreciate that quality! So glad I got this recommendation by the hospital staff...a great primary care doc. Office staff are superb, in personality and competence.

Dr. Obenshain is a fact finder whose excellent diagnostic skills would make him a great detective. He has treated our family for years, both in emergency conditions and routine preventitive care.

Dr. Obenshain is the absolute worst doctor I've visited. After my third visit, I realized he must have slept through a third of his first year of medical school. I cannot recommend him. His staff, however, is wonderful.

Dr. Obenshain was great as was his staff.

I recently moved out of Georgia, and one of my biggest regrets is not being able to have Dr. Obenshain as my primary care doctor. I've been his patient since 1996. Everyone in his office is caring, and compassionate. They we're so kind when my husband passed away (who was also a patient). I've never had a long wait, which was very important (I work 12 hour days, and it's almost an act of God to get time off to go to the doctor), and they've even squeezed me in on occasion (again, without a long wait). I've actually enjoyed being a patient, since I know that I will get real answers to my sometimes incredibly stupid questions.

This guy is truly an genuine open minded physician with a sense of humor and very rational minded (like any physician should be) but he is non condescending and I can tell him anything and he gives life suggestions where appropriate. I hate doctors but this guy is a real genuine person who is happy with himself because his purpose is noble. U ROCK DOC!
