Dr. Michael Paul Golden, MD

The doctor barely checked my skin and prescribed me an antibiotic ointment without explaining how and when I was supposed to use it. I spent more time filling out paperwork than the doctor spent “assessing” me. He rushed through the five minute visit, gave me a prescription, and said see you in three months. This was a terrible experience.

Dr Golden is an excellent physician. His nature is quiet and reserved but by no means rude. He is simply concentrating! Wouldn't go to anyone else for my dermatotlogy needs.

Glad I was referred to Dri Golden

Simply went to see Dr Golden with my daughter for a few warts on her feet. He'd previously froze some off my son. He took 1 look at her feet and said he couldn't do anything for her. He belittled me in front of her when I told him we were trying home remedies to rid them. He literally laughed and wrote a $871.00 prescription! I take her to her pediatrician a week later and he tells me to give her Tagamet for 1 week and if no change then see someone else. We started her on Tagamet which cost under $10. Within 6 days the warts were black. Within 2 more weeks GONE! This Dr Golden took my $50 copayment along with the rest of his pmt from my insurance company and spent less than 5 min with us! He's rude, bedside manners are atrocious! He is not a good doctor! He'll take your money, hand you a prescription for over $800 and send you out the door.

Very good bedside manner. Not sure what the complaints are about. Maybe it's because he's from the Philly area and it doesn't translate here in Texas. Spent plenty of time with me, no rush. Friendly guy.

I would highly reccomend Dr. Golden to all my friends. I was treated for acne. I'm doing great after a few changes in my medicine. We found the one that works and my skin looks great!!!!!

After a brief look/consultation (3-3 1/2 minutes) he told me to change my soap (which ive been using for years, not the problem) and handed me a prescription. He didn't seem like he was too concerned about patient wellbeing, or like he wanted to be there. It was a total waste of time for the "McSession". He should put in a drive thru for his practice and save everyone some time...However, extend the offer to "follow-up as needed" for only $90/visit. I think not!

I went to see dr golden for my acne issue but mainly for a spot on bumps on the back of my neck. He prescribed two different steroid creams which just like the person in the other review, maid it worst then before. After trying the second cream during my last visit he told me theres nothing i can do about the bumps which was his way of saying i just have to live with it. What kind of dematologist tells his patient that??

I went to see Dr Golden for Acne. I've been struggling with it since I was a teen. I started taking the medicines he prescribed and after just a couple of months it was under control, finally! I was very happy with the treatment he provided. My husband is also a paitnet. He had a planters wart and used cream to make it go away. He is an exellent Doctor!

I went to Dr. Golden for a rash that I had around my mouth. He miss diagnosed and prescribed a steroid cream that made my condition A LOT WORSE. I went to another doctor who diagnosed me correctly. Now it's going to take me two months to complete the treatment. He said I had an allergic reaction to something and turn out I had perioral dermatitis. Now because of the steroid cream my skin flared up and look awful. Move on and find another doctor.
