I have been With Dr Presti for 30 years . He has never gave up on finding a cure . He is part of my family. You won’t hear a negative word said about him .

I have seen Dr. Presti on a regular basis since 2009. I was just 18 at the time and had been horribly ill for a while and suffered for years with doctors ignoring all my problems and trying to blame my problems on an unknown past trauma. Dr. Presti was the first to look past all the gossip between all the other docs and spent three hours discussing my years of failing health, one organ after another. I was inpatient i should add. He patiently stayed there til almost 11pm that night going over all the addominal scans and tests i had had and proceded to do a physical exam, looking at everything. He couldn't diagnose but told my mom to go home and look up a rare connective tissue (which he had never told any patient ever before) and that he believed i had several gi disorders based on what he could see on scans, my history of excessive daily vomiting and other problems. It still took over a year to get officially diagnosed at Mayo with all that Presti suspected and more. Needless to say i… have stuck with him since. Unlike my PCP and other specialists who with just have the referral line set me up with a random doc in a specialty, despite my wishes, Dr. Presti sends me to specialists that he personally knows and knows they are already familiar with my issues. Presti has actually taken more of a PCP role than my GP has.

He is the most caring dr . He always makes time for you. He cares about his patients like they are his family. He never Gives up on a patients problems

Outstanding Doctor

My mother had Dr. Presti in the hospital. She was very sick when he saw her for what he thought was going to be a simple scope. He recognized her need for something else and quickly reacted and got things done to help save her life. He was very compassionate and took a lot of time to talk with us and explain everything that was happening. He listens and is a very empathetic doctor. I would very much recommend him.

I have Gastroparesis although he did not diagnose me with it, he is helping me live my life with it. Gastroparesis is a paralyze stomach, food may sit for hours or days, extremely painful. I have seen all of St. Louis' s so called best. One left me to die I was in icu and he did not even come check on me, and the other did not want to be bothered with all that comes along with Gastroparesis, his main focus is ercp's & mrcp' that is all that he is good for. So as you see many are jerks, NOT DR. PRESTI!! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!!! A very grateful patient. The only thing, I wish he was at a different hosp. But he is the one that provides the care so it is ok...

I have been with Dr. Presti for over 22 years, and he is the most kindest man. He has given't up on me when others gladly turned there back. I am so blessed to have Dr. Presti as my doctor and my friend. Dr. Presti is ONE OF A KIND. Thank You Dr. Presti for all that you do for myself and family. I will be forever greatful to you.

Dr. Presti saved my Mother's life. He persevered until he got to the bottom "bad pun" of my Mother's illness, and then worked with me to adjust her medications. Many people felt she would not get better/stronger, and she is now back to her normal self, all thanks to Dr. Presti!!
