Dr. Michael R Hodges, MD

I feel like Dr. Hodges saved my life. I am diabetic and ended up in the hospital in intensive care for three days in a 10 day hospital stay. My eye was infected so they called Dr. Hodges and he told them he believed I had the flesh eating virus around my eye and the other doctors didn’t believe it. He called in infectious doctor to start me on an anabiotic. He was correct with his diagnosis. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Hodges has been my Ophthalmologist for several years and I have always liked him as a person and trusted him as my Doctor.

I had problems with schleritis time after time. I finally went to Dr. Hodges who noticed how many times I had this come up. Being the smart man he is, he ask if I had ever been tested for an auto-immune disease? No, I had not. He ran the test and sure enough I had HLA-B27, an auto immune less none but the reason for my eye problems. I was sent to a auto-immune Dr. who prescribed meds to keep the inflamation down. I have been with him for 7 yrs. He is quick to act on any of my complaints. Iritis, Uveitis, Schleritis, he is on top of it. He has a wonderful understanding and is very empathetic to your pain and yes even your tears. Love this man and recommend him to every one. God has truly blessed him to be the Dr. he is.

Dr. Hodges is very personable. He was able to diagnose an very unusual eye problem for me and it CHANGED MY LIFE! I was having severe issues with numbness in my ear and jaw and the entire side of my head. Dr. Hodges listened to me and allowed me to share my concerns until he was able to nail the problem. I think my other doctors just labeled me as crazy. They kept telling my I had 20/20/ vision. In the end an eye glasses perscription was all that I needed. Thanks Dr. Hodges
