Dr. Michael S Rothberg, MD

I am devastated by the care my mother received under the supervision of Dr. Michael Rothberg and his resident, Dr. Ankur Jain. Over nearly four months of repeated hospitalizations, Dr. Rothberg — the attending physician — never personally evaluated her, despite her complex and deteriorating condition. His absence from her direct care is inexcusable and reflects a serious lack of oversight. Dr. Ankur Jain, his resident, attempted to discharge my mother the night before she died, even though she was oxygen-dependent, bradycardic, and clearly unstable. Just hours later, she was found unresponsive and died following a series of preventable failures — including the unexplained removal of her heart monitor, unadjusted insulin after severe hypoglycemia, and no code blue documentation. Their combined lack of involvement, judgment, and compassion led to a catastrophic outcome that could have been prevented. I share this in the hope that it will encourage accountability and protect other… families from the same tragedy.

Not enough time and space so be aware you will be waiting a long time for any phone calls to be returned if at all. You will be waiting a long time sitting in a waiting room. The lack of care is not something you want to endure as my family member had. Time to move on.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. NO TIME TO SEE PATIENTS. MY MOTHER WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND REHABILITATION TWICE IN 2 YEARS AND HE NEVER SAW HER IN EITHER PLACE. MY MOTHER HAS CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE AND HE HASN'T SEEN HER FOR TWO YEARS. CAN NEVER GET AN APPOINTMENT AND DOESN'T FOLLOW UP WITH PATIENTS. DON'T EVEN BOTHER TO ATTEMPT TO SEE THIS DOCTOR. STAY FAR FAR AWAY. HAVE NO CLUE WHAT HIS HOURS ARE. HORRIBLE DOCTOR. DOESN'T COORDINATE PATIENTS CARE

Obnoxious and condescending

Excellent Dr. Down to earth will listen to you.Will speak very frank with you.Treats his patients with respect and meets their needs.Would recommend to everyone.

Rushed...poor eye contact...focused on sribbling in chart. Inadequate examinations...barely listens to heart and lungs. Have to request exam of trubled areas or even routine look at ears and throat. Vitals taken by staff ignored...significant changes have to be pointed out to him by patient. After waiting a long time, give only a few minutes in contact with him.

NOT ACCURATE AT ALL. MIS DIAGNSES BLAMMING IT ON ACID REFLUX. I HAVE SALIVARY GLANDS WITH BLOCKAGE. FOR THE PAST 5 MONTHS THE PROPER TEST WERE NOT DONE. IT WAS ALL DONE HALF-ASSED THIS GUY JUST DID'NT WANT TO BE BOTHERED. THANK GOD FOR BETTER DOCTORS
