Dr. Michael Schmerler, MD

Came in from a referral from a top doc in Cinti. Schmerler totally dismissed me, ran some tests, and never heard back from him! AWFUL and disrespectful! He needs to get out of the business!!! I will be finding another neurologist.

We file a complaint against this doctor this week while our daughter was under the care of Christ Hospital, where Dr. Schmerler observed her for 5 minutes and basically said she was under stress and that her symptoms had no underlying neurological basis, when she clearly was suffering, losing control of her tongue and legs. That label haunted us through our entire 5 day stay, where doctor after doctor relied upon dr schmerler's 5 minute opinion. We pulled her out of the hospital, and have been forced to care for her at home while she continues to have 2 episodes per day. Never go to the Christ Hospital if you or your loved ones have a neurological condition.

I am not happy with the MRI team. When I was put on the table, I told them my back was hurting and they put a pillow under my legs and proceeded with the MRI. They gave me a button to push if the procedure got to much for me. I was in pain during the entire procedure but I finally pushed the button after my pain go to much. They said the jhad only a little bit more to do and kept on going. When I was finally let out of the tube, I was stif and in tears. I feel they should have not kept me in the tube an hour or more without a break. I am now at home unable to do my daily chores. . My back aches and my head aches. Maybe they should be more interested in a patient's comfort and requests. Dr. Scherler is a great doctor and has taken care of me for over thirty years. I trust every things he suggests, but the MRI teams needs improement.

Waste of time & no help. Does not care about the patient..

Rudest doctor in Cincinnati.. He didnt listen to me, ran some tests then didnt have said they hadnt come in when I can look them up on my chart! He had no suggestions and kept saying he did not know .Maybe HE is the one with the memory loss.. It was a waste of my time and money.. Save your time and go to one of the other doctors.

Dr. Schmerler was kind and took time to discuss my migraine history and failed treatments. He offered me a few possible treatments and we agreed on a preventative medication that has significantly reduced my migraine headaches. I have not needed to use the "rescue" medication for my migraines in over a month.

Dr. Schmerler was very kind and courteous to me. I had migraines for years and he put me on the right medicine immediately! His bedside manner was wonderful! I would recommend this doctor to anyone! A big thanks to him and his staff for always being so nice!

Dr. Schmerler has taken excellent care of me. He has always been kind and thoughtful. He listened to me and was very patient through a long period of trying different medications. I have highly recommended him to family members.

I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. He is prejudice against overweight people. That is all he focused on. I have a lot of health problems and he didn't discuss anything with me! Just kept telling me to lose weight. Then the icing on the cake was when he called me about a medication I'm on he was very rude, wouldn't listen to me, talked over me then slammed the phone up on me. I was in complete shock that I was treated this way! I will never go back to that group anymore. I need to find a doc who will take the time to listen to me and help me not treat me horrible cause I'm a little overweight. So sad.

I agree, completely misdiagnosed me!!!
