Dr. Michael J Sollenberger, MD

I will cut to the chase: I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR. Here is why: 1. Poor bedside manner 2. Talks down to his patients 3. Does not act like a team player 4. Can be snobbish with his comments 5. Lacks in standards of care ( didn't follow up on my high cholesterol as a diabetic in 3 years) 6. Just ticks off boxes on the Electronic medical.record and doesn't realize what is really in the record.. for example.. I supposedly got foot exams at each visit for 3 years. It only happened ONCE. Medication and insulin dosages weren't changed when refills sent to the pharmacy causing delays in getting medications. Again, would not recommend to anyone.

Exceptional health care!

Dr. Sollenberger is knowledgeable but does not want to listen, if your diabetic it's your fault. He tells you personal responsibility. If his office makes a mistake he turns it around to your falt, and personal responsibility. Would not recommend, he needs to retire.

Dr. Sollenberger and staff are very kind, caring and nice people. Am more than satisfied.

This "specialist" was certainly not special. He refused to take my symptoms and questions seriously, literally smirking and speaking down to me as if I were a child. I was completely overwhelmed, having never been treated so shabbily by a physician in the past, and considered him quite rude, to say the least.

Dr. Sollenberger was very thorough in his explanation of prescribed medication for me. He is most personable and respectful of me, not only as a patient but as a person. I have recommended him to several of my friends for which his specialty would be appropriate.

Dr. Sollenberger takes the time to explain what he is doing and what he is thinking. I find this very refreshing.

DR. Sollenberger has accepted my 13 year old as a new patient. My first visit with him, and my daughter and her dad was encouraging. He addressed my daughter with his questions and treated her with respect. His plan of care style seems logical and understandable; very down to earth. His staff were effective and had a caring attitude. It was a great start for us.

This Dr. is great! He listened to what I had to say, paid attention to me instead of just my chart and numbers, and took the time to hear my reason for being there. He spent 30 full minutes in the room with me. That is totally unheard of nowadays. I was completely impressed and will keep him. The only reason his staff got a lower rating was because I faxed all my info and so did my previous Drs., but none of it was in my chart.
