Dr. Michael Yong Gyou Hwang

He is a liar. I found out that he had been lying on my medical records for about a year and a half when I was filing my social security appeal. I’d told him the entire time he was treating me that I was still depressed and the meds were having no measurable effect. He had written the ENTIRE TIME that I was responding well to the medications. I asked him once to put me on an MAOI because the meds he was giving me weren’t helping me. He refused and I asked him to take me off the meds I was on because they weren’t helping me. I’d expected him to wean me off them. He told me to stop taking them, and of course I had severe side effects as a result of abruptly stopping the meds. I found out from reading my medical records that he said that I said that the meds I was on were helping me, but I’d heard that MAOIs were better. He was also very unprofessional and would often laugh inappropriately and didn’t seem to take my condition seriously.
