Dr. Michele A Candelore has the following 2 specialties
- Family Medicine
A family practitioner is a doctor who specializes in caring for people of all ages, at all stages of life. Rather than focusing on the treatment of one disease or patient population, family practitioners are often the doctors that people see for their everyday ailments, like cold and flu or respiratory infections, and health screenings. When necessary, family practitioners will provide referrals for conditions that require the expertise of another specialist.
The doctors may also provide physicals, inoculations, prenatal care, treat chronic diseases, like diabetes and asthma, and provide advice on disease prevention.
- Internal Medicine
An internist is a physician who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the adult population—both acute and chronic.
These doctors are often who adults see as their primary physicians because they treat a broad range of illnesses that do not require surgical or specialist interventions. They also work to help a patient maintain optimal health in order to prevent the onset of disease.
In addition to treating the common cold and flu, internists also treat chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.

Dr Candelore is great, but her office staff just can't figure it out and they're not even nice about it. My wife waited for over an hour today for scheduled blood work before they told her her appointment wasn't even on their books (we had their scheduled visit reminder card, and messages on our voicemail reminding her of her appointment today). They suggested if she would just wait around for a few more hours they might be able to fit her in.
Please if you are looking at this page for a recommendation for Dr. Candelore and her practice/staff, read no further then this post! If there is a negative post, then the person writing it is more then likely the problem with their experience. I have had a lot of experience with a large number of many different doctors in the Cape and no office can compare with Dr. Candelore and her staff/team. She is by fare one of the best physicians in the Cape along with her staff/team too. If there are clients that have poor reviews with her and her staff, the problems are more then likely with the clients. You must be an inpatient ignorant person to have had a bad experience with Dr. Candelore and her staff. You also should not even be aloud to leave reviews as you are probably just an over all bitter hateful person ,please stay off the internet. Dr. Candelore and all of her staff/team are some of the most professional people in their industry. They all know the meaning of quality care and what is in the best interest for the patient. I wish them all the best and hope for their growth in the future to be able to care for more of us who appreciate them.
I grew up in Naples, FL & had some ok Dr's there. But just felt like a #. Then in 2004 moved to Sebring, FL. I ended up working in the medical field (still am), and have had some good & some bad Dr's there. (With small towns, you're limited on quality! And they all want to refer you to a specialist! If you have allergies, referral! If you have a headache, go to a neurologist!). I moved back to the area in 2011. I was nervous about going to a Dr & getting the run around or being referred. (My insurance sucks & my co-pays are very expensive.) I have minor health issues that I have had for years that I take meds for, I brought the bottles & she gave me a prescription for refills for a year! She listens, is very compassionate, goes the cheapest route...she doesn't talk to you in "Dr language" even though I would understand it. I have suggested her to many friends & family & will continue to! I absolutely LOVE Dr Candelore!! I hope she stays in the area for a LONG time!!
Dr. Diagnosed Gall Bladder issues 4 plus years ago . I got sidetracked by a local gastro group who diagnosed me with gastritis . She stood her ground sent me to a surgeon and when they took my GB out , the surgeon said it was definitely a failing gall bladder that made me so sick! Thanks to Dr. Candelore , she knows her stuff !
