Worst dr I have ever been to in my life; when I told him about a traumatic experience that was my reason for seeing him, he defended the company and wouldn't listen to anything I had to say. One of the medicines I had been on for my entire life that was the only med that worked, he was completely uneducated about and argued with me (!!) over how you become dependent on it yet I took the prescribed dosage and never became dependent on it. He then LIED to me about wanting to test my urine for "enzymes" but it was a test for illegal drug usage. If he had been honest with me, I would have gladly peed in the cup as I had nothing to hidel. But he lied! I walked out and suggest you go as far as possible to another dr who is a qualified pyschiatrist.

Excellent doctor and would definitely recommend. Dr. Martelli truly cares for his patients and has excellent bedside manner.

Super nice doctor. Very knowable and up to date with medication and solution. Very nice and polite staff.

Martelli has a series of forms that you must fill out. READS them. One form specifically asks you to give up your right to have access to your medical records. Then the nurse lied and said it was required for the insurance company to pay him -- I called my insurance company, they were shocked. I had my insurance company give me a list of other doctors. Martelli has a bad reputation all around Brunswick, most say all he does is write prescriptions. If you need behavior help and diagnosis --Martelli is not the doctor to go to.

number 1- he does not accept United Healthcare which everywhere else i know does. number 2- they wanted the money upfront of $200 before i even saw the psychiatrist. number 3- he asked me if i was depressed, my answer was no, he then continued to prescribe me an anti-depressant then shoved me out of his office after less than 10 minutes of talking. I WAITED FOUR MONTHS TO GET THIS APPOINTMENT TO BE SHOVED OUT THE DOOR IN 10 MINUTES FOR THE WRONG MEDICATION. He was rude as well , when i was "trying" to carry in my 3 month old baby, car seat, dropping his blanket, struggling to carry the diaper bag and my purse, he just continued to stare at me. i would never recommend this doctor to anyone. the waiting room is AWFUL and smelly, old looking. PS- he doesnt accept insurance because all he cares about is MONEY!!!!!!!!!!

Very relaxing professional & environment, the doctor makes you feel comfortable to speak to, and answers all questions, I highly recommend seeing him.

This doctor cares about money and not people. The office double books on a regular basis. He is likely getting big kick-backs from drug reps as he pushes the same meds without assessing the needs of the patient. He is the only game in town and he knows it. If you walk out, five more will walk in. Take my advice and make the drive to get actual help.

This practice is more concerned with collecting your money rather than your mental well being. I was accused of missing an appointment that was not scheduled and they charged me for it. It's been over a year and it looks like we are going to court over $50! The waiting room is hot, dirty, and smelly. The office staff is not friendly.
