Total disinterest and disregard for patients. Stares at her computer screen the whole time and yet, still makes mistakes with your history. You CANNOT get through to make an appointment! I’ve waited an hour on several occasions and another time I did not get a call back for TWO days! I was only attempting to make an appointment. Can you imagine if you had a serious problem??? Unacceptable, Unprofessional. And when you do FINALLY get a call back New York Blood and Cancer comes up on your phone!!!! The woman on the other end tried to explain why but, of course, it made NO SENSE! Thankfully my daughter and I are now with a doctor who is everything Dr. Shaffran isn’t: kind, caring, pleasant, and INTERESTED. Just an awful, awful experience.

The WORST doctor you will ever come across in your entire life. I guarantee it!! She is rude, condescending, and passive aggressive. I truly believe she could care less whether her patients live or die. She is absolutely vile!!

Doctor and staff were excellent very friendly service and warm atmosphere and great bedside manner very thorough. I wanted very happy with my visit.

This doctor was extremely rude to me. She clearly did not take her time to read my chart as she made several mistakes referring to it. She does not like to be corrected when she is wrong. She will be very rude and passive aggressive to you. Overall, it was a horrible experience meeting her.

This doctor is always behind. I have been to her twice and each time she was late. My first appointment was at 9:30 and I was not seen until 10:30. She starts taking appointments at 8 and was already an hour behind at 9:30. My second appointment I scheduled for 8:00, the first appointment. I arrived at 7:45 am. I was taken in at 8:03. Its 8:30 and I am still waiting cold and naked. This will be my last appointment with her. I respect your time, she should respect mine.

My wife sought Dr. Shaffran's counsel when experienced a gynecological infection. Unfortunately, after an exceeding brief examination, Dr. Shaffran insisted that the symptoms indicated a sexually transmitted infection; thereafter, she refused to hear any explanation f on why that diagnosis was highly unlikely (i.e., 15 years of monogamy). Dr. Shaffran's exact words were, "I don't want to hear about your personal affairs." Labs confirmed that the condition was not an STI, but a benign and transitory infection caused by auto-inoculation. Dr. Shaffran's failure to keep up-to-date on diagnostic trends, as well as her abhorrent 'bed-side' manner, caused my wife to seek a new OBGYN .

Easy to talk to. Nice person

Worst experience ever. Had a procedure done in the office she told me I might feel a little pain. it was the most painful thing I ever went though(even after giving birth to 2 kids). after the procedure I told her this should be done in the hospital. her reply was, I cant do this procedure in the hospital another Dr. would have to do it. At my follow up appointment, after waiting for 55 min.in the exam room I was leaving and saw her in the hall, I asked if she will be seeing me now. her reply was, I didn't know I had a patient in the room because the door was open. I said to her, I was waiting for 55 mins. her response, she yelled at the medical asst. for leaving the door open. I said to her "you are not a nice person at all". the medical asst. didn't leave the door open I did and that's because I sat in there for an hour. She has very bad bedside manners, not a compassionate Dr.at all. I would never use her again.

She was ok just ok , seemed not interested in helping with menopause . Exam was painful and she had very long nails . I had spotting after exam. I have had three children and no exam was ever that painful.
