Dr. Mirna Despalatovi Bowden, MD

Dr. Bowden was combative, unsympathetic, and argumentative. She told me I was wrong in almost everything I said I was experiencing, and treated me like a drug addict looking for drugs when I mentioned my severe, ongoing pain during this pregnancy. She was discriminatory and biased, curt and abrasive with me and my husband. Not a kind word to be found, and dismissed us without helping us. I would never recommend anyone going to her and I am sorry we every tried to get help - which was a reason for why I feel the way I do. I mentioned seizures, sleep disruption, constant pain, and panic attacks and she refused to offer up any solutions offer than to stick out the rest of the pregnancy. I left in tears and will never go back to that office. I am disgusted and cannot believe she holds a license.

I had previously discussed some depression. On a follow up visit, she flippantly as an after remark asked "how's the depression" When I said I thought I was ok but still had some moments, she had no response. She noted that I had not had a recent mammogram and gave me no orders to get one. When I asked a question about bleeding, she blew it off like "that happens to everyone". She may be a good obstetrician but she is not a good gynecologist.

she is just absolutely amazing!! I couldn't possibly write enough good things about her!
