I’m a retired physical therapist with 542 yrs of acute care experience. In Sept of 2023 I developed fasciculations both upper extremities with weakness. I also had loss of balance and weakness both legs. I was so frightened and called for appointment explaining my symptoms. Her office refused an urgent appointment until 12/23. I was forced to have tele neurology consult in CMC ER . Had surgery at Dartmouth 10/31/23 and was told I could have ended up in wheelchair if I had waited. I’d never go back to Dr Folger again. She definitely lacks patient care and compassion.

Not informed in latest standards of care and practice. Recommended a treatment that was adverse to other comorbidities. Defensive until shown current clinical data. Condescending and unwilling to spend time discussing alternative treatments appropriate to my individual needs.

She has made a huge difference in my life. I now no longer suffer with daily headaches due to the Botox injections I receive.

Dr. S. listens, evaluates, prescribes. Dr. S. obviously cares about her patients and begins a follow-up session where the previous session ended. She is approachable, comfortable to speak with and understands the agony which migraines bring. I recommend Dr. S. without reservation.

Dr. Segarceanu is by far the finest physician I can remember ever seeing. Her expertise , ease of communicating with ,and bed side manner was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't even consider seeing another neurologist. Highly recommended !!
