If you are considering a hysterectomy, consult with several physicians to choose one that has the most experience and can best handle complications should they arise. Dr. Brock performed a hysterectomy on me four years ago, and I have been bleeding ever since. Obviously something went wrong. Before the hysterectomy, I thought highly of her based on her personality. Now I know personality means nothing in the operating room. Numerous physicians later, I have no answers, and no fix. Botched job perhaps? It should have been a simple hysterectomy, but for some reason became complicated. After the hysterectomy, I followed up for the continued bleeding. Silver nitrite did nothing to stop the bleeding. I honestly remember feeling as though she knew something went wrong, but was hoping that I didn't return. For someone who did not have an OB, I would have assumed that since she did a hysterectomy on me, I would continue seeing her on an annual basis. When I asked her if I should schedule a yearly follow-up, and she mentioned I didn't need to see her again...that should have been my first clue that she didn't want to see me again full well knowing that something had gone wrong. When other complications arose, she happened to be on vacation when I was hoping to see her. I tried to see, and consult with any other doctor in her office that could see me. I was totally dismissed by the nursing and office staff. They were less than accommodating and downright rude. Without any other options, I ended up going to the hospital emergency room. Do I recommend Dr. Brock? No, I sadly do not.

I saw her during my pregnancy at 42 yrs old and continue to see her for my OBGYN needs. She is warm, caring and very professional while being down-to-earth and extremely personable. If at times I have to wait a little longer to see her, I'm good with that because I know she is devoting time to the care of her patients!

Been seeing Dr Brock since my first child was born in 2008. I absolutely love her. She is very personable and does a great job of talking on a patients level by explaining everything clearly. I highly recommend her!
Not the friendliest of all OBGYN's.

Not the friendliest of all OBGYN's. I felt rushed and unwelcomed as a new patient who's a young adult (25) with my first child on the way. She was short and came off rude. I switched doctors :( Her office staff don't speak highly of her neither, I guess from previous patients complaints.
My favorite out of all my drs

Dr brock has delivered two of my children via c section and she was awesome! I'm pregnant with my fourth and look forward to her taking care of me again. She is always in a great mood and answers all of my questions. I recommend her to anyone who needs an obgyn.

Beware! Consider another option. During scheduled appointments she was always short and quick. Which turned out to be the main problem during my delivery. She also broke my water and told me not to mention this when I arrived at the hospital. One of the nurses on hand mentioned that this is common for her and she was known for that. Wonder what that means. Anyways, I'm assuming this was her way of being able to deliver my baby on her schedule. She was not there for most of it. When she showed up to deliver my baby it wasn't until I was already crowning. She was all dressed up as if she had somewhere fun to go to like the bar. She threw some scrubs on and grabbed that little suction thing they use on the babies head and yanked him right out ripping my vagina to shreds. She was at the hospital for maybe 20 minutes. I'm very sad and disappointed with my selection. My son is now 2 years old and my vagina is still sore. Find someone who will be patient and allow your vagina the time it needs to stretch out properly so that it doesn't rip and cause you pain for the rest of your life.
too busy to care for patients

I waited for around three hours to see this Dr and when I did finally get to see her she barely introduced herself, it was a very short visit because she was so busy she had to leave again for another appointment. My main concern was that I told her my concerns one being the fact that my mom has had breast cancer and that I had a lump in my breast and she seriously told me not to worry about it that it is probably nothing!!

Dr. Brock is simply amazing. So great that now that I live in Europe I have offered to fly here to Germany to deliver my first baby. I have 100% trust and confidence in Dr. Brock.
