Dr. Mohammad Junaid Chohan, MD

I am extremely disappointed with the care my father received from Dr. Chohan. Blood work was ordered and completed, and the office received the results, yet no feedback or explanation was provided regarding the findings. Instead of reviewing the results in a meaningful way, my father was asked to come in for an appointment that amounted to nothing more than a billable consultation. During this visit, Dr. Chohan did not explain the lab results, did not offer guidance or a treatment plan, and instead handed my father paperwork and told him to do his own research. After this experience, I personally called the office to address the lack of communication. During that call, I was told that Dr. Chohan had already explained the results to my father. This statement was not true. My father was never informed of what his results meant, nor were they reviewed with him in any meaningful way. This is unacceptable medical care. Patients should not be left to interpret their own test results,… especially after insurance is billed for a consultation that provides no medical value. My father was treated as if his time, health, and concerns did not matter. This will not stop with this review. I will be filing a formal complaint regarding this medical practice. Patients deserve respect, transparency, and proper medical guidance — not to be treated like second-class citizens.

This doctor rushed my appointment his staff as well as his self was unpleasant and rude Never would recommend him to Anyone

I was seeing Dr Chohan for a year . Like other Doctors I’ve seen he did not palpate. When the question was brought up about not touching him his patients he got very upset . Because he was being questioned about how he does things . Just because you’ve been practicing for 28 yrs doesn’t mean you know what you’re doing . And he then says to me I can go somewhere else if I don’t like how he dies things . That’s what I did . I found a real professional . Someone who does not get offended when questions are asked . They know how to communicate .

Dr. Chohan is an outstanding Dr ! Only two offices I personally recommend is Brentwood or Hempstead! His staff there is very nice a courteous! The girls in these two offices try their very best to answer my questions! Especially the 3 girls in the hempstead office. I personally wouldn't recommend the office on post Ave, westbury. Those two girls are rude and are not helpful! They do not attempt to answer your questions. Their response is always "I'm not sure or I don't know" No

Dr C is one of the best Drs in long island ny very caring to his patients and always makes sure his pts have the best care possible. Highly recommended to anyone in need of a primary doctor.
