Rare combination of sincerity, care, pragmatism and skill — without hesitation would highly recommend— more docs like highly needed

Dr. Mostafavi is the most personable, thoughtful, and judicious specialist my husband and I have come across in a year of endless health problems and doctors’ visits. He explains things clearly and in detail, is kind and open with his patients, and shows extremely good judgement in conducting procedures and surgery. We recommend him enthusiastically to anyone needing a urologist, especially relating to kidney stones.

Wife had question about potential serious prescription drug interaction that may have been overlooked at Urologist, Dr. Mostafavi was the "on-call" doctor. Didn't call back for over an hour, only after we called back again did he finally talk to my wife. Completely ignored her question and instead launched into a completely unprofessional, unjustified rant about it being late at night, (too bad, it's part of his job, earn the paycheck), was argumentative about what constitutes an emergency (well, if it's emergency we would have gone to the e.r, we weren't sure about an interaction, why risk it and then have to go the e.r?..hence the call.) kept cutting her off before she could even finish her question, and asking what exactly she wanted him to do, come to our house and catheterize her? Way, way, over the line, never answered the question because he refused to answer it and instead chose to tell her what time it was repeatedly and how her calling over prescription question was… ridiculous. If I knew where to file a formal complaint I would. Unprofessional, needs to take lessons from some of the doctors he works with.

This whole group in general is very caring as I have dealt with all of them. Dr. Mo is very caring and sympathetic to your needs. He listens to what might work best and is willing to try new things in regards to what you as a patient are dealing with. I have been with this practice for three years and they all are very caring when it comes to treating my condition.
