Dr. Monica Mchenry Svets, MD

Dr.Svets was recommended to me by one of my friends. To say the least, I was very disappointed at her. She never returns call. She never follows up with any concerns in test results. So if I don’t follow up myself on MyChart , I would never know that there is abnormality in my test results. Even after notifying her office that I need her to call me because My test results showed pretty bad anemia and I feel bad symptoms, she didn’t bother to call. Definitely not recommending to anyone. My test results showed diabetes and neither her or any of her office bothered to call to notify me. Simply they don’t care. To make it short, I don’t recommend her at all.

I absolutely LOVE this woman! She's intelligent and genuinely cares about her patients. Her personality is truly one of a kind. I've been so fortunate to have her throughout 2 pregnancies. She even stuck around Hillcrest when she didn't have to to pop in and deliver our second child! She's worth the 45 min drive and the occasional wait. I highly recommend her.

I was a patient of Dr. Svets for a few years. Some time passed between appointments and when I called to schedule an appointment, the doctor's staff told me they're not taking new patients and to schedule with someone else. It was handled very rudely, especially considering I'm not a new patient.

Dr. Svets has a kind bedside manner and is friendly, bubbly in the office, but her office staff leave much to be desired. Unhelpful, giving inappropriate recommendations that DO NOT come from a doctor-- I would not go back as I would not want to deal with the nurses again. Would give Dr a 4-5 star rating, but office would be 1 or zero.

I have been going to Dr Svets for several years and she is the most caring compassionate doctor...going as far as to give me her personal cell phone number for additional counseling if I felt I needed to chat. She is an excellent clinician and knowledgeable resource. Love her!

Dr. Svets is an amazing person and amazing doctor. She made me feel so comfortable. She gives me a hug when I see her. I look forward seeing her in each of my appointments. She really spends time with you and talk to you in depth. She has answered all of my questions and concerns. I'm hoping to have her as my doctor again for my second child. Thanks Dr. Svets.

I have been going to her for years and I couldn't imagine going to any other doctor. She is very personable and always gives me a hug when she walks into the exam room. I am so comfortable talking to her about anything and asking her questions. Highly recommended!!!!
