Dr. Monique Sarana Ruberu, MD

Advertises herself for her refusal to prescribe birth control or to perform an abortion even to save the life of her patients. Apparently her patients’ lives are not important to her and neither is sound medical science.

I had come to Dr Ruberu after nearly a decade of not seeing anyone for my lady check ups. I went through my insurances provider search and was very disheartened by the options available but I was determined to find someone as I had been experiencing a problem. On the third page I say Dr. Ruberu's practice listed as "Natural" with the word "holistic" in the description. I immediately knew she was going to be my doctor. After further review I learned of her values and knew she was going to be a perfect fit. I made an appointment and was called within a reasonable amount of time to firm up a date/time. They then gave me clear instructions on how to get ready for my appointment. They also asked em to create a user sign on to their user portal and print out new patient forms to streamline the visit. When I arrived at the office it was super cozy with tea/coffee a welcoming essential oil diffusor was emitting a calming scent. Mary called me back and went over all my paperwork with me and… asked what brought me in. She took the time to listen to my concerns so she could pass the information along to Dr. Ruberu when it was my turn to go back to the room. When it was my turn they took me to a medical room where they took my weight and blood pressure and explained what would be happening next. After a short amount of time Dr. Ruberu came to get me and invited me back to her office to discuss the information I brought in, my concerns, and other medical things. Dr. Ruberu was kind polite and has an incredible bedside manner. Rather than making me feel inadequate for my health problem like others have been in the past she was calm, understanding, knowledgeable, and helpful. She gave me a list of resources for a things I had not even realized could be contributing to my health problems. We went over every detail I had written in my patient portal and the forms I had brought in. She then sent me back to the room to change into the gown. When she came back to the room she asked how I was feeling and I told her I was uncomfortable. She asked if it was due to emotion or physical. I told her it was due to emotional. She made me feel at ease by using a guided breathing technique. To say that Dr. Ruberu is just a good doctor is a misdeed she is an excellent doctor and definitely serves not only your body but mind and spirit as well.

Dr. Ruberu is very thorough, professional and kind. What a welcome change to have a doctor so willing to speak patiently and truly care. Her demeanor is very conducive to making me feel comfortable and in good hands. Kind of a return to the old days when doctors were sincerely concerned and treated patients with dignity.

I had a major issue with a prior doctor and practice. I took a chance with just calling around and talking to the staff to find someone new. I found Dr. Ruberu and after the staff answered a ton of questions I booked an annual. Dr. Ruberu was very friendly, professional, and very much informative. She took the time to ask and answer questions. I really felt like this was a more productive and I know 100 million times safer experience for me personally. I highly recommend her. She didn't even bat an eye at me for having written out everything in advance. She even took the time to read it and respond to each concern and question even adding a few things I didn't think about or really know how to bring up. Her support staff and medical team also made this much easier on me.

This was my first visit with Dr. Ruberu, and I noticed she was very thorough in her background/ lifestyle questions and typed everything into her computer immediately. Perhaps it is because she is so thorough with all of her patients that my appointment with her began almost an hour after it was scheduled! She was matter-of-fact, not much small talk at all (fine with me), but still of a kind demeanor. She struck a good balance of putting me at ease with my condition being "probably not serious," but also prescribed some extra precautionary testing "just in case." One thing I noticed is that this exam did not include a manual breast exam, which I have come to expect at my annual. I did not rate the follow-up or diagnosis, because I haven't heard back yet.
