Dr. Morris Papernik, MD

First, he is with Sanistas in Bridgeport, CT now. Very compassionate and smart man. Always gave me the time I needed so I was never upset when he ran late. He worked so har do find a solution to the extreme pain I have from Trigeminal Neuralgia even though he isn’t a neurologist. I will always measure other doctors up to him. So far only one has matched him.

As others have said Dr. Papernik has the best bedside manner! He is knowledgeable about everything we’ve ever asked him, and has referred me to some of the best specialists. He is a great listener and never ever rushes patients (which my guess is why he left a new practice shortly after joining; many just want to get as many patients in as possible=money). He does NOT push pills. He trusts how adult patients who have chronic pain and who he’s known for a long time to get the pain meds they need without making them feel like addicts. If you follow the label as directed, you will have no issues. We have found him to be conservative with medications. He doesn’t medicate to make symptoms go away; he runs tests and figures out the cause, then has provided options for us (and explained those options). Because my medical history is complicated, I ask Dr P to take over all of my prescriptions (so I know he’ll make sure nothing clashes). I trust Dr. P with my life and the lives of my loved ones completely. He’s a caring brilliant doctor. You can find him at Sanitas now (Bridgeport, CT with 2 days (i think it’s 2) a week in Newington!

Dr papernik is the most compassionate, caring physician I have ever seen. Love how he gives you all the time you need to explain your illness.

I was living my life in bed contemplating ending my life, as I had no life. When I stood up from my bed, I felt like I had cinder blocks on my spine. Then, I was blessed with Dr. Papernik. Within days I was living the love I was meant to live. Happy, spreading happiness. I redid a home, painting, tiling, staging and, as a result, I started a new business - Decluttering and Staging homes. 37 pounds feel off my body in 5 months time, simply because I was now moving, walking, living. From wanting to end my life to living your best life, there are not enough words to express the depths of my gratitude. This man listened, as if I had intellect, knew my body. He explained EVERY-THING, as if he believed I had the ability to comprehend. I was a respected human in his care. I love this doctor. No better out there!!

He is a brilliant doctor and has the kindness & compassion no longer found in other doctors today. And trust me, I’ve seen many between my late husband, daughter, grandmother, parents and myself. I went to Mayo Clinic while under his care and even they could not help as much as he has. He helped me out of 30 years of a medical nightmare. I highly recommend him!

Not sure if the last comment I made posted gave me as many opiods as I wanted then left the pro health group went to another group in southbury left or was fired after 2 weeks. He had given me his cell phone number which I called never returned my call he is putting it nicely a piece of sh have to find a new doctor shortly

I was a patient of Dr. Paperback for about 10 years in Glastonbury CT. He can not be trusted hooked me on fentanyl.left the Glastonbury practice and was employed in southbury for about 2 weeks. Looks like he has now dropped off the face of the earth and I hope he has. I hope I never see him again, I am up in years but am still able to fight for myself there are probably others that were up in years but were not able to fight for themselves I wish them luck.

I have been a patient of Dr. Papernik since he moved to CT. He has been wonderful to work with, very professional, with quick diagnostic skills, great bedside manner. I am sorry to see him move on. I’ll miss him. My best to him and his family. David Megaw

I love Dr. Papernik! I've been seeing him for my Fybro, CFS, and migraines. He's wonderful!!!!!

Saw Dr. Papernik for first time. Having suffered various chronic diseases all my life, and having recently been diagnosed with yet another disorder, I was amazed at how much he listened to my husband and me and linked my various illnesses together and EXPLAINED the relationships to us. I feel more optimistic at this moment than I have for a decade.

Dr Papernik listens and more importantly, hears what you are saying. Never jumps to conclusions and explains everything well. Always has time to spend with patients and gets to know you as a person, not just a symptom.

I have recently been experiencing problems with my RA in Chicago....I have gone thru so many RA doctors here, and the last one really screwed me up big time....Low & behold I end up back at Rush where I first met Dr. Papernik many years ago....I miss him so much....He was EVERYTHING to me for my RA....If he was still here, I wouldn't have gone thru so much pain and problems and would probably been able to keep my natural knees. To those patients in his area, you have truly been blessed to have such a Great Physician so close...Perhaps an Angel in medicine.

My husband and I would agree that Dr Papernik takes the time to hear you out and then your see his mind churning, as he contemplates the best solution for said situation. He is very laid back and funny. I like the fact he often has medical students shadowing him. That speaks volumes to us. I suffered with Fibro for years, not knowing what it really was until my first visit and had my diagnosis and left the office with hope. My husband also finds him kind and a caring Dr.

I never had a doctor that really took the time to listen. He took the time to look at my blood work, listen to my symptoms, ask follow-up questions to properly diagnose me. I am so thankful to Dr Papernik. I am on my way to better health now. I had just about given up and was learning to just deal with the constant pain and issues I had. He has put me on the right path. It's hard to get an appt with him but now I know why. He is a really great doctor.

The front office staff has an unbendable rule that they will only deal with new patient appointments after 4 p.m. If you miss their call, and call back they have turned on the answering service. They will not allow anyone else to simply make the date/time appt. (no HIPPA info) on your spouse's behalf. Good luck to you if you are a road guy or work in an office that doesn't allow you to take calls like this or if you do not work in office where you can leap from your desk or out of a meeting to take their call at the one unannounced time they deem ready to call you. It's such poor customer service I just had to write this review. Oh well, by all accounts here is really is an excellent doctor, but my husband will never know that!

Although you may need to wait to get your first visit or he may run late for your visit, you will always feel that you are the most important thing at that moment. He has an excellent bedside manner and using the online portal he is quick to respond to any questions you have. He is the best doctor I have ever had

I was a patient of Dr. Papernik's when he was in the Chicago, IL area. After searching for a few years for a Doctor, I searched online and found him. It was quite a drive for me, but he was the first Doctor that knew how to treat my CFIDS and Fibro. He was, by far, worth the drive for me to go see. When he left IL to move to CT, I actually cried! I still haven't found a Doctor who is as informed about the illnesses and giving up hope I will ever find another Doctor like him. Not sure if you will see this Dr. Papernik, but the purple girl in Illinois misses you!!

I miss Dr. Papernik. He was my physician when he had his practice in Chicago. I have had other doctors and good doctors but Dr. Papernik is the best. Dr. Papernik is kind and has expert knowledge in field not meant for primary doctor. He has helped me with my fibromyelgia. I miss him very much! Sometimes I wish I could take the trip to see him or call and consult him. God bless Dr. Papernik.
