Dr. Muhammad Khwaja Mansoor Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed should not be a doctor! He is very rude and no consideration for his patients. I have had issues for a couple of years now and was referred to him. He tested me for 10 days and since i didn't have as many episodes in those 10 days he sent me on my marry way and told me good luck with my insurance company paying for dexcom or i can just pay out of pocket for it. no follow up or anything. Once he said that he walked out the door and pointed towards the exit for me to leave his office. I am going back to my primary care doctor to see if they can refer me to someone else. I also reported him to my insurance company.

I came to Dr Ahmed because I have high calcium. After consultation it is recommended I have my hyperparathyroid removed. Knowing I’m a snowbird he recommended I have it taken care of at a special clinic in Tampa, FL. This clinic has done thousands of this surgery. Dr. Ahmed was very clear about the complications of high calcium, and how it should be taken care of soon.

He is creating doubts in general public's minds regarding existence of viruses

He talked at me for the whole appointment with little consideration for my particular issue/concerns/medical history. He did not listen and was incredibly patronizing. He will not treat thyroid issues unless TSH exceeds 10, which is double the AACE/ACE/AME recommendation for clinical practice. If you suffer from a thyroid disorder, I recommend not even considering Dr. Ahmed.

After regular Doctors saying i jad no problem, I pushed to see a specialist and I saw Dr.Ahmed. He had the right tests done, and thank heavens! My cortisol level was a 3, He SAVED MY LIFE, when other Doctors said I was just fine. This man is a real Doctor, (cares for the patient and listens) not many are these days

It seems he can handle basic endocrinology issues. He has no desire to dig deeper into autoimmune issues that cause thyroid problems to begin with. He suggested to have my daughter’s thyroid removed. She’s only 14! Unless her life is in danger she will not get her thyroid removed. She’s stable for now and we’ll find othet options with a naturopath. Stay away from him if you have complex endocrinology issues!

While I received a diagnosis and was prescribed medication, it didn't work very well. I called multiple times to explain my symptoms had not gotten better and was completely dismissed and told to come back in six months. I do not recommend wasting time with this provider if you can afford to travel to Anchorage to see another endocrinologist.

I was laughed at and mocked by Dr. Ahmed due to my mental health diagnosis and I told him that I was not able to take Metformin because it makes me violently ill yet he PRESCRIBED IT ANYWAY!!
