Dr. Anwar was quite rude during the entire visit, would not listen to any complaints that my sister had that ended up being life threatening within 48 hours from that visit. Dr. Anwar only focused on 1 issue, being the history of alcoholism. My sister was quite upset as she had already succeeded in her battle with alcoholism but also had another condition called NASH. If you want someone compassionate, to listen to your problems that need to be addressed, do not attempt to make an appointment with Dr. Anwar. Also, if you happen to be a family member that is also a healthcare professional that knows his/her information, don't bother going to the appointment, as he will also will not listen to the family member's concerns. My sister ended up in the ER with a life threatening esophageal bleed within 48 hours of the visit, despite us telling Dr. Anwar what was occurring. Within 6 weeks of the visit, she was septic requiring an emergency liver transplant.
