Dr. Naghmeh Salamat Saberi, MD

She is a horrible doctor. I was referred to her because my doctor is on maternity leave--horrible experience. I have been having symptoms with night sweats and hormonal acne in my 30s. The entire experience was horrible. I was asked why I was coming to her because my primary care doctor didn't leave her any notes. I explained my symptoms, why the tests were ordered, and why I wasn't seeing my normal gyno. She proceeded to tell me my primary care doctor could have gone over this with me. Keep in mind he is not a gyno. She told me all my labs were normal. I had looked at my labs and saw that my values were low for the time blood was drawn during my cycle and saw that my symptoms aligned with having these low levels. She looked me right in the eye and said they were normal. I asked her why I was having these symptoms and she literally told me "it's probably weather and you are hot." I told her I have been having symptoms for months, it has nothing to do with weather. She told me she… didn't know what it was but it wasn't my hormones. I asked her about my estradiol and progesterone ratios and her response was that they shouldn't have tested all these hormones just FSh, since I have a period every month. Having a period every month doesn't mean you are healthy and having no issues. She is dismissive and clearly doesn't not care for her patients nor is she willing to figure out why her patients are having symptoms. I could not imagine going to this woman pregnant or having her deliver my baby. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!

I have to thank Dr. Saberi she gave me my life back. After 10yrs of pain and suffering, getting blood transfusions and pretty much getting told by Dr. and hospitals they could not help me she took on my surgery and now I have been pain free for 6yrs. And living my life. Thank you and your staff for everything you did for me!!

If you wanna waste your time and money go see this careless doctor! She is the one who mismanaged me, told me that my concerns are bull***t!!! She charged me for 1000.00$ for a 15 minute useless visit. She doesn’t care about your symptoms, she is very disrespectful and is never available for her patients. I wonder why she is still working?! She should retire and stop wasting people’s time and money. Even now when I think of her I feel so nervous. It was the worst experience of my life.

So it must be protocol for this Dr to have you see her, send out for expensive imaging, give you false hope and then lie to you only to then back out of surgery. Don't shame the patient that wants to be informed!

what a waste of time! she made me wait for a long time and finally said that she can not make a diagnosis and asked me to see another doctor. her lack of knowledge and poor judgement made me feel that I can not trust her. she was very disrespectful. after the first visit she suddenly left the room without even taking the time to listen to me. what kind of a doctor is she??? I will never ever recommend this doctor to anyone. even my enemy!

Very competent and good looking too

This is a review of my services from Dr. Saberi at the UCI Women's Health Care Center in Costa Mesa. I had an abnormal pap and Dr. Saberi recommended that I have a colposcopy and, if necessary, a cervical biopsy. Dr. Saberi told me that she would only perform the biopsy if she saw something unusual during the colposcopy. Dr. Saberi also told me that it would only be a pinch and I may have some spotting afterward. During the colposcopy she performed the biopsy without indicating that she saw anything wrong. It was so painful I was shaking uncontrollably and crying. After Dr. Saberi finished she hastily said that she didn't see anything wrong during the colposcopy and practically ran out the door. Three days later I passed a huge blood clot. Fast forward one month and I just received a bill for $260 for lab fees. Apparently because the health care center is associated with a hospital my insurance won't cover the lab fees. My employer provides us with a health advocate and they… said that this is common with hospitals and there's basically nothing I can do but fork out the $260 for a test that was, according Dr. Saberi, completely unnecessary!

Worst Doctor - Beware!!! She is indifferent to your care, and arrogantly unaccountable, mismanaged office!
