Dr. Nancy Ann Ball, MD

Dr Ball was a terrible listener. I saw her a couple times, and she was completely unhelpful. She almost instantly determined what was wrong (in her mind) without regard to my words - while she disregarded WHERE my chronic issues were located in my body. I showed her exactly where it was, yet she left that area out of the imaging orders. I knew exactly where my problem was. But she doesn’t study that area. Not her specialty. Instead of saying “I don’t know” she had to save face. She ordered xrays and an MRI, neither of which even captured the specific set of bones that causes me grief! I couldn’t believe it. Exposure to all that radiation, and the expense, only to find she didn’t order imaging of the very area of my pain! Since obviously she couldn’t see it on imaging, it didn’t exist. She referred me to a lame series of health appointments that ultimately exacerbated things. Since then nearly every doctor dismissed my pain after they saw her “well respected name” in my files. I had to… fight to be heard and believed after that. Finally, FINALLY, I found a top specialist outside the Maine Health system who did special imaging and diagnosed my condition. Seeing Dr Nancy Ball was a huge mistake that dominoed into several years of my debilitating, life-altering pain being dismissed, simply because other doctors in their system blindly trusted her inaccurate judgment.

Seamless. Great experience. Dr Ball was very professional but also personable. One, if not the most, enjoyable Dr visit ever. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ball was nothing short of professional ! She explained everything so I could follow along and wasn't talking over my head so to speak. She was very thorough in her examination. She knows her business and I would recommend her to anyone going thru the pain with my back and leg that I have.

Sent a message to inform Dr I was in severe pain from possible pinched nerve. It took a week for contact from Dr.

Completely incompetent!

I had bulging torn and herniated disks , she insisted despite what the MRI showed that it was muscular and put me in physical therapy , after that torture my therapist called and told her if it was muscular i would be getting better . instead i was getting worse and Dr Ball told her to" keep doing what your doing " it was then the therapist recommend i get a second opinion . 5 days after the 2nd opinion i had back surgery . she also had me in her office "dry needling" me which consists of poking me with a needle until i screamed because she was insistant it was muscular . RUN FAR AND RUN FAST

The Dr. didn't bother to read the form they give you to describe your condition, and began by stating that perhaps my pain was related to something else. She rushed me through my exam, and seemed to make light of everything I said, and to minimize my pain. The staff was rude overall, including on calls. It seems the whole practice is equally affected with a negative vibe, bad attitude & lack of professionalism. I won't go back.

Knows her stuff, very attentive

Not sure what agenda Dr. Ball is really following. Lots and lots of mixed messages,.

She in high opinion of herself and no one else.

This doctors personal opinion obscured her professionalism entirely.Acomplete waste of time! Also a visit w/her may be a detriment to your future health care!
