Not only does he help you from a doctors’s stand point, he genuinely cares for his patients. Such a good physician with a kind heart.

Was seen by this MD to see if I had Dementia. He was in the room with me and started to leave when I ask if I had Dementia, he answered yes you do and walked out of the room. The most insentive, uncaring person I ever met. He didn't even take time to try and talk with me. He destroyed my life at that visit. He walked out of the clinic before I had even checked out. Years later I am still a functioning person with some memory problems but not any worse than when I was in his clinic. I took with me a copy of my Catscan and the nurse had to ask him if he needed to see it, he wasn't even going to look ay it. I am a retired nurse of thirty years and have worked with many doctors but never one as cold and uncaring about a patient. In my oppinon Dr. Ahmed is incompetent and does not care about people. My wish that I never have to encounter him ever again. Sandra Slone

Unless your just a drug seeker, don't waste your time, he will only push pills on you without even attempting to give you a diagnosis! Totally disappointed, he was rude when I wouldn't accept the pills or a pain shot, even though I told him the pain wasn't that severe, I just wanted to know what was wrong. NEVER going back there again, totally unprofessional and rude!

Dr. Ahmed is the best doctor hands down in Pikeville. I've going to him since years.

He is the best neurolgist I have had for treatment of M.S. I was diagosised in 78 and have had many neurologists over the years. He is easy to vent your symptoms and concerns. In Sept. 09, I thought my symptoms of decreased cognative ability and memory so limited activities of daily living were leaving me in dangerous situations, especially cooking. Today, after treatment, I manage to live alone with in home workers five days a week (not arranged by him or his office)I highly recommend this doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ahmed's for several years, and have always received the utmost in care from him and his staff. I am an insulin dependent diabetic who sees numerous doctors, and out of all of the doctors I see, Dr. Ahmed is the most genuine, most caring, and most down to earth of them who takes enough time with me and makes sure he covers all my concerns. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone.

Dr Ahmed is a great doctor but the ladies in the office are inconsiderate and unwilling to help they forget to do their jobs and when you run out of your meds they act like you are asking them to drive a 100 miles out of their way to call and get them preauthorized like they said they would a month before , same thing with calling prescriptions in , better get then while you're with the dr. And the billing lady is no different too lazy to bill the right insurance company for months even after calling them and asking them to do it and the insurance company telling me they had not submitted it . The girls will not let you talk to the doctor so you better do that when you have your appointment . My thought is he needs to fire them all and start over .
