Dr. Neil Aaron Braunstein, MD

Dr. Neil Braunstein is the very best rheumatologist in Las Vegas! I would highly recommend him, he has a great bedside manner and is very thorough. He is compassionate, trustworthy, experienced and his office staff was so friendly! After I moved from another state 3 years ago it was a big struggle to find someone like him who is not greedy or egomaniac. I feel very confident in his care.

He answered all of my questions and listening to my concerns. I thought he was nice and very competent.

This doctor us very mean spirited, put me on chemotherapy medication in pill form that had very bad side affects so they took me off all medications all together. And now they wait weeks to return calls. And in order for me to be helped I have to have more blood work. Before they can help me Now their calling me everyday to confirm an upcoming appointment. And then he didn't not give disability any paperwork regarding my case so I forced myself to go back to work both doctors stated that until I get the blood work they will not help me. They have all my blood work he refuses to give other options and sad to say it's hard to get a good doctor

I am glad I am not the only one that had that experience with Dr Braunstein, honestly I have another Rheumatologist there now, better bedside manner but pretty useless. I get the feeling if the meds they give you don’ work, they give up on you!

For the past two years I have had my problems I have seen numerous Doctors. I have been dynos with severe COPD, Neuropathy Upper- mild, Lower - severe. I also have a paralyzed left side vocal cord, numerus growths in my neck and head area. Thank goodness no cancer. I bring this up when I say I have seen numerous doctors it’s a fact, too many. My Lung Doctor sent me for detailed blood work. She said the blood showed I might have Lupus. They referred me to this Doctor. I also had a visit with my nerve Doctor showed him the results and he agreed that Lupus might be a problem, he wanted to wait for my visit before he proceeded. Took a while to get an appointment. I also had to take more detailed blood work. I have Health Plan of Nevada so most of my test are on file with Southwest Medical. So this Doctor could access these results. However when does a Doctor care about other tests that do not concern him/her. Well Dr. Neil Braunstein did. I copied all of the… test I have taken that would affect Lupus, thinking he would not have these results. Well no need for that with Dr. Braunstein, he reviewed all of my file. He even talked about a test I took two years ago. Incredible, he explained things that had nothing to do with Lupus better than my other doctors. It had to take him 30 min (at least) to review my file before my appointment. By the way the other blood work I took showed I did not have Lupus so he could have just walked in and said no problem and leave. He is confident but he backs it with facts and the time to review your file, so he is not just blowing smoke. Listen to him he knows his “stuff”. I just wished he was my primary care Doctor. I was very, very impressed.

Awful doctor. It takes over 6 months at least to get an appointment. Bedside manner is terrible. Do not go to him.

Seems irritated that you are here. Has no patience. Will not listen and pre judges and has no follow up.

Very poor bedside manner, wants to get rid of the patient.

I have never been insulted by a dr. before. He misdiagnosed me with fibromyalgia and then when I asked him who do I see as a specialist, he said "unfortunately that would be me" I was in shock that he said that to my face and proceeded to treat me as if I was making everything up. He only asked for xrays on my wrists and never bothered looking into anything else. I was just recently properly diagnosed with Spondyloarthritis and Osteoarthritis. Due to his lack of interest, or pride, I now have parts of my spine and pelvis fused. He could of helped preventing this three years ago. Now I live with the consequences.

I found Dr. Braunstein and his staff to be very professional, and left there very grateful for his expertise and knowledge of arthritis. I have every confidence in him to help me improve my health. I have only had one visit and I felt he knew everything about my medical history for the past 3 years, without looking at a folder or the computer. I was very impressed and knew that he had studied my history before I came. His nurse was very kind and thoughtful. I am looking forward to my follow up visit and prognosis.
