Had eye surgery with him appx 5 yrs ago then the same issue was back a year later. When I went back Nicols took offense and was extremely RUDE. . Now that they've taken over the Optomology office in Bay Shore he's got his staff going through records from umteen years ago and billing us for them. YET HE WASN'T EVEN THERE BACK THEN! #scamartist

Went for biopsy on eyelid. Did tests to see if I would qualify for brow lift that him and his staff tried to sell me on. Didn't do biopsy but charged me 500.00. I hated experience so decided against the lift. I had to go back for biopsy. I had first appt and waited for 1 1/2 hours while he drank coffee and paced around playing with his phone. He finally took me in and did procedure. He cut a cyst out of my eyelid. He was rude, dismissing and did a terrible job. My eyelid is not the work of a plastic surgeon. I had to make an appointment in 5 weeks to get results of biopsy. They would not give me the results if I called. They said it was against the law to give results other than in person.$$$$$ I went back, he looked at me and said" how's the biopsy site?" I said " fine...how's the biopsy?" He said " good question" then had to look up results on computer. He is surly, arrogant and greedy. I could go on and on about this unpleasant experience but this sums it up.

I visited Dr Nichols twice for a chalazion in my eye lid and he the worst bed side manner I've ever witnessed in a doctor. He was unfriendly and disinterested in what I was saying. He walked out f the room when I was mid sentence and was looking at his cell phone consistently. Don't go to him!
