he is a most stupid doctor i have ever seen, to me honestly he is not guilty, who let hime to be there are guilty.

Dr. SooHoo is a good surgeon, and a very nice man. I feel safe and comfortable in his care. I am happy to give him 5 stars cause he deserves it. I love him. He is a star.

I filed a complaint against this bozo for missing two fractures. Every radiologist that has reviewed my CDs has noticed the fractures except for the supposed Ankle Surgeon named Soohoo. So instead of kicking him out of UCLA for missing fractures, which were HIS responsibility to treat, their fake committee of reviwers say they can't find anything on the images. Such liars and frauds. UCLA is the worst place to go to. The worst. And if they have to keep such incompetent doctors, that means the doctor doesn't deserve his title. He shouldn't be practicing medicine and he is far from the chief of ankle surgery. He has connections. What a mafia place to get treated. Shame on UCLA. I will tell everyone I know not to waste their time and money on your bozo Chief of ankle surgery. What an incompetent loser.

I too had a horrible experience with this doctor. He spent only five minutes with me. He missed my fracture. How can you review over 200 images and diagnose a patient that quickly. He said I had ligament issues even though another doctor said Dr. SooHoo must be on weed. my ligaments look perfect. I highly recommend you seek somewhere else because this bozo is only interested in taking your money and looking good in front is his residents. How can anyone diagnose that quickly???? Even a radiologist needs at least ten minutes to review the images and give his impression.

Horrible doctor. The worst doctor in Los Angeles. He didnt accurately diagnose my very obvious fractures, sent me to physical therapy, and ended up worsening my fractures. I'm worse now than before I saw him. He's a real jerk. Doesn't care about his patients. He's all about taking your money. He spent less than ten minutes with me. If he wasn't so concerned with unnecessarily charging patients so much money and was more concerned with actually treating patients, I would have more respect for him. As is, he is a money loving, egotistical doctor. Shame on him. No wonder our doctors are laughed at by all the other countries' doctors. We really do have a huge number of undeserving and incompetent doctors. Shame on Dr. Nelson SooHoo. He needs his license revoked. I mean, if an orthopedic surgeon is unable to diagnose a fracture, why would anyone be stupid enough to trust him????

Excellent surgeon who fixed my badly misaligned ankle due to rheumatoid arthritis allowing me to walk again.

Fortunately, I was able to work through my HMO to have Dr. Soohoo do my ankle fusion. I had been living in pain for many years from an old injury and was scared to have this done.At 8 months post op, I am amazed by my results, which I believe are directly attributed to the quality of the surgeon. My life is back, I can walk with no pain and every day I feel blessed.I'm part of an ankle fusion networking group and the horror stories I've heard are scary. People have had to have multiple revisions...and experienced all kinds of problems. Dr. Soohoo was never rushed with me and took the time to answer all my questions. Mark and Carolyn in his office are great. The office is busy and I've had to wait a bit for an appointment and in the office, but it's worth it. This is a small price to pay to have an expert surgeon. If you have a major ankle problem, my advice is to hobble on over to UCLA and get your ankle fixed.

I shattered my right heel (aka calcaneus) in a hang gliding accident. Piecing it back together required a plate and 6 screws. Dr. Soohoo was meticulous, and I followed his instructions precisely, and devoted myself to PT. Thanks to his ability as a surgeon, I have resumed a very active lifestyle full of sports, and that's after standing on my feet all day as a primary school teacher. I'm a 50 year old woman and the only problem I have is a slight change in ROM and stiffness (particularly w/ inversion and eversion) in the morning or after periods of immobility, but considering the mess that he repaired, I couldn't be happier!

The kindest, most respectful doctor we have ever had. Confident,yet, such a gentlemen at his profession. Superb Doctor!

Dr Soohoo has too many patients! I've had to wait over 2 hours to see him for 5 minutes each time 2 of the 3 times (so far) I've had to see him.
