Dr. Nicholas Gray Anderson, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Anderson. My left eye had floaters that blocked my vision so I went to see my optometrist who took x-ray. On the x-rays my retina appeared to be detached but it was too blurry to confirm. I was immediately scheduled the same day to meet with the on-call emergency Retina Surgery Specialist. Dr. Anderson was on call, he quickly determined it was not a retinal detachment and he requested lab work to narrow down the cause but he thought it was sickle cell. The lab work determined sickle cell was causing abnormal blood vessels to bleed in both eyes which could be treated with laser, injection and/ or surgery. He took the time to explain all of my options and developed a plan to have the less invasive procedure done prior to injection and then the need for surgery. Through all of my nervousness I found comfort in his calming bedside manner, his kindness, professionalism and accurate diagnosis. I became confident that I was in good hands based on his expertise and retina knowledge. His assistant Jocelyn was very supportive, she explained my pre/post instructions and medications required for each visit/procedure and she even took my phone calls to answer any questions I had after the appointment. I was very pleased with how I was treated for each appointment that I was willing to travel to five different locations to be seen only by Dr. Anderson, Jocelyn and his staff from the front desk check-in to A.D. taking my payment at the end. I can honestly say I received great customer service in a personalized manner which is rare these days. Thank you!

Dr Anderson was very polite and professional. The vitrectomy he performed on my eye was successful. The large thumbprint size floaters are gone and my vision has been restored! Very thankful for Dr Anderson!

Dr. Anderson has a friendly manner and is very clear and reassuring in his analysis of any issue that he may see. The exam went smoothly and without a long waiting time.

Dr. Anderson is excellent. I have had 2 laser retina surgeries on emergency short notice plus follow up visits, and though he had a full schedule, he worked me in and was professional, fully attentive, calm and polite. One of the days he operated at the end of a long day and the other, during what should have been a lunch break. My ophthalmologist referred me directly to him because he is such a highly skilled specialist in retina surgery and I have not been disappointed. I've been to three different locations over the past few years in order to see him specifically, and all staff I encountered were courteous and professional at each.

We have been seeing Dr. Anderson for about 4 months now. My son had a traumatic eye injury which eventually required a vitrectomy. He has always been very thorough, kind, friendly, patient, and even though he is busy, he ALWAYS takes the time to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend him. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and always professional. We are so thankful for his expertise. He gave my son his sight back!

I cannot tell you how appreciative I am of Dr. Anderson’s skill as a surgeon. I had a retinal detachment a few years back. I was so scared that I would lose the sight in that eye. Dr. Anderson worked me in immediately to surgery and fixed my eye. I now see 20/20. I will never be able to thank him and his wonderful staff enough. I love seeing this eye Dr. He treats you like a friend. Makes sure you are aware of the procedure(s), he will be doing. Asks if you have any questions. He has been treating me for my diabetes now for over 10 years. He is just fantastic!!!!!!!!!

I had floaters and my primary eye doctor referred me to Dr. Anderson. His staff got me in very quickly. After a very thorough exam, Dr. Anderson told me I had a tear on my retina and took care of it right then with a laser procedure in his office. I was obviously very upset, but he and his staff put me at ease. He followed up with my progress and my eye is completely fine. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nicholas Anderson
