Dr. Nicholas Ricculli, DO

My father went to see Dr. Ricculli approximately 2 months ago--two weeks after having a stroke due to clogged carotid arteries. My father was having chest pains and shortness of breath. Dr. Ricculli did a doppler on my father's neck and gave him a clean bill of health. My father continued taking acid-reflex medicine believing there was nothing wrong. This past week my father went into see a different cardiologist who insisted on running more invasive tests the very next day. My father went into Morristown Memorial Hostpital to have the testing done--the tests confirmed that all 3 arteries to my fathers heart are blocked - 100%, 90% and 80%--he is a walking ticking time bomb. Thank God for Dr. Sebastian's office in Chester--he is now having stints put in on Wednesday. Dr. Ricculli did not do proper testing on my father. Given the fact that my father has completely blocked carotid arteries alone should have been a reason for more testing. This oversight could have caused my father his… life. I never write reviews--but in this instance I wanted to ensure this information is shared since it could have meant the difference in life/death for my father.

My husband and I have been using Dr. Riculli for the last 15+ years and we have found him to be not only an excellent doctor, but person as well! Couldn’t imagine seeing anyone else! Office staff is also very helpful! 5 Stars, for sure!

Made an appointment with Dr. Riculli in March, 2013 for July, 2013. Arrived at office and was told that my health insurance was no longer accepted. No one called me to tell me. When I asked to tell the doctor about this as he came into office he was spirited away into another room. Rude and inconsiderate "receptionist" told me doctor would be willing to bill it just as an office visit. I told her I couldn't pay any more than the copay. Then "receptionist" said, "Well, then we can't help you." ***Beware*** ask repeatedly if they accept your insurance. I lost a day's pay because of office staff's incompetence.
