My husband just spent a week in the hospital with no real results from this doctor. We made a follow up appointment in the office to see what the final diagnosis was and she walked in and told us that she did not have time for many questions because she had three more patients. (We had an appointment, but guess that doesn't count). Then she said she wouldn't have to answer questions if he would have listened in the hospital. I was there every time she came in and she just contradicted everything she would said. She walked out got a piece of paper and said, "I guess I have to write it down for you" like we were little kids. Most arrogant doctor I've ever met. When I said to my husband I'm done we are out of here until we can see Dr. McFarland instead, she had the nerve to say, "I challenge you to get as good of care from him as you do from me" Again as arrogant as you can get. My comment back to her, "At least I know we will get some common courtesy" Will never go to this doctor again and may even change offices unless I know I can get Dr. McFarland only.
I saw Dr. Chiesa for a general checkup as well as for concerns regarding a years-long battle with both depression and anxiety. She asked questions, but also sat and listened while I cried about how despite my wonderful life, I couldn't breathe. She was consoling, helpful, and didn't sugarcoat anything. I was afraid to see her after reading all of these awful reviews and because I've avoided seeking help for 10+ years, but Dr. Chiesa changed my life today with her kindness and professionalism.
If you are looking for a dr. who cares about your overall being she is not it. She is rude, insulting and condescending. She is in practice with Dr. McFarland who is the polar opposite of her, I never go to that office unless he is there. She has put me on Lasix when it wasn't needed, misdiagnosed avascular necrosis as arthritis causing e months of severe pain before I saw Dr. McFarland and he sent so a surgeon, she also sent me to an ob-gyn who insisted I had cervical cancer and conducted a pelvic exam pap test, scope, biopsy and two urine samples. I had sepsis, which they never picked up an was rushed by ambulance to the hospital. She came in and wanted to know how I let this happen. She told my elderly mother-in-law to stop complaining she had her health (which is all true) and then said she would like to slap her face for whining.
'New patient' My appointment was for 11:00am at 11:40 I was called in. Over scheduled?? After my vitals were taken and some questions asked, I sat for at least another 20 minutes waiting for the DR. Never briefly went over my past medical information (as I have a heart condition) just right to the problem...aches, cough, fever ~ do you think I have the flu? I don't think so....really doc? There is a test to test for the flu, a swab of the throat. but what do I know? As another patient said, she just disappears.
