Dr. Nuray Gun

Nuray Gun, MD, MS graduated from Hacettepe University, Turkey. She received a Masters Degree in Human Genetics from the University of Michigan. She continued her Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship training at the University of Michigan as well. She did research in the areas of esophageal cancer, colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. She received the American Gastroenterology Association’s Senior Research Fellowship award. She moved to the University of Colorado in 1993 where she had special procedure training in advanced Endoscopic procedures. She served one year as faculty at the University of Colorado, where she trained both residents and fellows. She joined Arapahoe Gastroenterology in 1995, where she has been in practice since. Her interests include women’s health, GERD, irritable bowel syndrome. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, Arapahoe Medical Society and is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
