Dr. Oksana Maria Demediuk, MD

My husband was referred to Dr. Oksana Demediuk re: retinal changes found by his ophthalmologist. We could not have been more pleased with our visit to the Retinal Eye Center. The office and waiting areas are well laid out, clean and convenient. The staff are all pleasant and professional. When Dr. Demediuk came into the exam room, she was friendly and empathetic. I must say that she gave my husband the most thorough eye exam possible (without removing it altogether.) Even though the office was slammed with patients, she took her time explaining what she had found on his retinas, her prognosis (good) and patiently answered questions my husband had about other eye issues about which he was concerned. Although his issues weren't related to his retinas, she took the time to explain what was going on, had the office print out instruction sheets for us and went out of the office to find some samples for him to try. Yes, our visit took a little over two hours as I would have expected… for a initial visit; I did not begrudge a single minute of our visit to her. I have to say that the appointment was the first day back from the Masters and they were so busy that Dr. Demediuk had come in on her day off to see patients. She recently saw my husband for his follow-up appointment; we were on our way out the door within 30 minutes of our appointment time. If I could give her 10 stars, I surely would!!
