Dr. Pagiel Shechter, MD

Unbelievably useless negligent staff. First they kept me waiting in the waiting room for half hour before giving me the paperwork with just one other person waiting. Because i made a comment about it, they purposely took the other person in first, even thou i finished filling up the papers sooner. i was there for an hour and a half to see the doctor for 5 minutes. Too bad she seems decent but I have not seen worse medical staff in 30 years. Then they sent my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy even thou i specifically gave them the phone number of the pharmacy i wanted. Then i called the following day to ask for a copy of a medical report the doctor inadvertently kept and the staff was uncaring and asked me to go back again just to pick it up, arguing: "If it gets lost on the mail it's not on me". Probably they will not mail it out but still blame the postal service for loosing it. Then a week later i find out they filed my records away and didn't submit the urgent authorization… requests. These people should in jail for patient neglect!

I saw Dr. Pagiel Shechter a few months ago for my annual check-up. He has been my primary care physician for over 7 years and I do not have one bad thing to say about him. He is always professional and courteous and punctual. Any time I have any questions or concerns I contact him through his office staff and he usually gets back with a response within 24 hours. I can say that there is sometimes a wait in his office but I think it's because he visits other hospitals before seeing patients in his office. Overall I would highly recommend Dr. Shechter to my close friends and family.
