Summary
I was born in Roseburg, Oregon, a small mill-working community. I pursued my undergraduate studies in Eugene. Subsequently, I spent seven years in Los Angeles for medical training. Afterwards, I was happy to return to the Pacific Northwest to start my family. I have been happily married for more than 20 years. We have three beautiful children, two daughters and a son. I also care for my German shepherd, who has multiple skin allergies, and three cats. Initially, I wanted to pursue a career in medical research and work behind the scenes to improve peoples' health. But then I realized that I thrive on social interaction and working with people on the front lines of medicine.
