Dr. Patricia Dix, MD

I can not imagine how many people she has sucked the happiness from because she did us! She told us we should abort our baby because she "thought" our baby had downs syndrome. After knowing our history at that time we had 3 miscarriages and a stillborn at 37 weeks. Then she reviewed my file and everything she was using as her reasoning had already been tested for and was negative. It was sickening to see her cold hearted face over her desk. My husband and I left and I called my regular doctor and she did not send me back. 4 months later I delivered a perfect little boy. We will never forget our experience with her and we tell everyone possible about our experience.

Both my children she delivered were born early. My son 4 weeks and my daughter 8 weeks. Both were born healthy at 5 lbs 5 oz for my son and 4 lbs 6 oz for my daughter. Neither would have survived to be born without her. She is knowledgeable and decisive and kept my preterm labor under control. I will always be grateful that she was there for me in my time of need. She is a professional to the highest degree but down to earth and cares about her patients. My son is now 21 and my daughter 20.

Here I am 20 years later after Dr. Dix delivered my twins. I was 15 and didn't know what to expect. I remember she was always rushing through the appointments and not telling me what to expect or what I should be doing. I'm a family nurse practitioner now and I have never forgotten my experience with Dr. Dix and how terrible she made me feel. That is why I always make sure my patients understand what I educated them on before they leave. On a good note, the twins were born healthy and I am grateful. Just wish I was not treated the way I was or heard the whispers about me from outside the room.

I am diabetic and I was very scared about staying healthy during my pregnancy. Dr. Dix was amazing! She was very caring, but told me like it is. She was very honest, even if it scared me...but she always seemed to make me feel positive and I was completely comfortable putting my faith in her! Thanks to Dr. Dix and her staff, even though my daughter was 5 weeks early, she was and still is healthy, and so am I. I would reccommend her to anyone!

I have had the honor of having Dr. Dix as my physician! She is the best in the business! I would highly recommend her and her staff to anyone in need of a neonatal physician or high risk pregnancy physician!

This doctor is definitely in the profession for the RIGHT reasons. She has a wonderful bedside manner and is so encouraging. She has helped many families through tough situations and genuinely cares for her patients. We were blessed to have been referred to her when our son was born.

When i was having my son i was about to give up i even said i cant over and over but she was there to let me know that i couldnt give up and have me her hand to show me she was there with me and not to give up when it got hard to do. Now i have a cute 5 yr old son and she was there when most doctors wouldnt have done that. 2003 - 2004 was when she was my doctor.

I was a patient of Dr. Dix in 2006-2007. She and her staff were absolutely wonderful. I thank God for them and the fantastic experience I had during my pregnancy and birth. I am high risk and having such a wonderful doctor made a frightening event all that much easier!! I would recommend Dr. Dix to anyone.
