Dr. Patricia Jeanne Huberty, MD

I have been struggling with infertility and also unexplained pelvic pain on and off for 6 years. She is the only OB who knew exactly what test to order to properly get some answers. She is very direct and straight to the point, which I like. She does not get back to you in a prompt matter but to be honest I would rather deal with that one fault, especially since she spends so much extra time with me in the room at appointment time. She is worth it. I am forever grateful I found her, and found a Dr. to take my health very seriously. I wish I found Dr. Huberty years ago!

I have been a patient of Dr. Huberty's for over 15 years now and have been very pleased with each and every appointment I've had with her. She is extremely knowledgeable and she takes extra time to answer all of my questions. She guided me through my first pregnancy (perfectly healthy baby girl, easy delivery and easy recovery). Although she wasn't on call the day I went into labor, she made a special trip to the hospital to check in on us after we delivered. Her bedside manner is friendly and down-to-earth. I am currently seeing her for baby #2 and feel very secure in her care.

I have read several reviews that state that Dr. Huberty is uncaring and has no interested in patients. Having done my internet research before my appointment, I was incredibly nervous and skeptical going in to the office. From the moment she was very warm and engaged. She asked about my medical history thoroughly, answered my questions, and talked about a plan for moving forward that we were both comfortable with. I had a very positive experience with her and will continue to see her for my gynecological needs.

I was shocked by how rude and arrogant Dr. Huberty was in my first and only appointment with her. I have a history of miscarriages and infertility and when I finally was able to get pregnant with twins Dr. Huberty dimissed my questions about being high risk and dodged questions concerning work issues. When I expressed problems that I was having being on my feet for prolonged hours at work, often more than 7 hours a day, she replied that if I wasn't able to work that I should quit and was unwilling to explore any other options. I was floored that she would say such a thing! I decided to seek out an expert in high risk and multiples and when asking for a referral she flattly denied my request. I recommend avoiding Dr Huberty and the Allina Eagan office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Huberty's for 15 years---we struggled with infertilty for 5 years, during that time Dr. Huberty communicated well with our fertility specialist. When I finally got pregnant, she provided great care and was compassionate and thorough. Dr. Huberty is an intelligent and kind Doctor.

I really liked Dr. Huberty, she delivered my first baby. She was straight to the point, which is what I liked. Yes, I felt like I had a long wait time to see her, but I would go to her again if I hadn't moved.

I had a miscarriage, and the symptoms went on for two weeks. You would think that when you call the nurse line and mention that you are pregnant and spotting, which then turned into bleeding, that would prompt an urgent response from your doctor. Not the case with Dr. Huberty. I was not only heartbroken that I lost my baby, but extremely upset that she never returned my calls. I was told by the nurses on three occasions that she was going to follow up with me, and she never did. I had 2 HCG tests done, and she never explained to me what the numbers meant. The HCG number went up within 2 days, so I assumed things were fine, only to be told by a different doctor that I was on my way to having a miscarriage. Dr. Huberty has no bedside manner. I had an "off" feeling with her at my first appt., and now I wish I had chosen someone else. I have told everyone I know not to go to her - she is not supportive in the least bit. I know that nothing could have prevented my miscarriage, but… a call-back and some honesty during the process would have been nice. So, Dr. Huberty, thanks for nothing.
