Dr Meere who has performed two total hip replacements on me is one of the most thorough and competent doctors I ever me.

Dr Meere replaced both my knees on the same day in Feb of 2013. When I first visited him in his office, he was the only person who had ever made clear to me the options and the potential for improvement. Having been on my new knees for six years, and having had multiple post-operative checkups, I can only say that the operation was a total, success. When I was in the hospital, and nurses looked at my chart, they would say, "You had Dr Meere. You're very lucky." I fully agree.

Dr. Patrick Meere was recommended to me by my brother who also is a practicing Orthopaedic surgeon at NYU. After sitting with him for the initial consultation I was confident he was the Orthopaedic surgeon I wanted operating on me for a complex revision of a prior hip arthroplasty. The surgery went very smoothly. There were no complications and now after my six month follow up I have already resumed my practice of Internal Medicne and I have no constraints on my lifestyle. I highly recommend him as he is very knowledgeable, experienced in the field of Orthopaedic surgery and robotics and highly skilled.

Surgery involved a search for an uncommon prosthesis which took considerable time but was ultimately successful as it has served me well for the past 15 yrs. I would recommend him to anyone searching for a dedicated and talented orthopedic surgeon!

I could write a considerable amount of highly positive feedback about both Dr. Meere and his office staff. But to ensure the key points are read, and can work to help many others find such an incredible Surgeon and sSurgeons office staff, I am going to keep this short. My Aunt had a hip replacement and spoke highly of Dr. Meere while I visited her through her recovery. I did not expect to need to know more than that about this doctor as I am very active, eat super healthy and not prone to accept medication or typical medical needs. At 35 about a month and a half ago, I went from 180 miles an hour to a dead stop wheeling in into a double surgery for my hip. What I though was a sore muscle that had just fatigued considerably, and what the ER misdiagnosed as just bursitis to Dr. Meere was evident right away. I went from pushing through the pain to barely being able to limp. And when I reached out to his office, they not only got me in ASAP they rushed all the proceedings after.… He got me into an emergency MRI and called me at 9pm that night to tell me I had a hip fracture and bilateral turn labrals. The amazing part is that was exactly what he wrote on my MRI prescription just from his expertise in translating how I was compensating to try to walk. Only difference is he expected it was a fractured femur and A torn labrum and instead they found both torn. I was asymptomatic on my right side. And although I would have rathered get it all out of the way in one shot,they only performed the two surgeries on the left with the notion that it would be too much trauma on the body to do all three in one OR visit. Now the strain I have put on the right side to support my body while the left side heals has made the 3rd surgery go from possibly to likelihood. I would trust the next steps with Dr. Meere implicitly. He not only was patient through all of my many many questions but he made time on numerous occasions to connect with me late in the evening to help me understand my options and the diagnonsis. Dr. Meere also visited me before the surgery, after the surgery, in the ICU and also in my hospital room. There are reviews that say he is "not the warmest" from my experience those reviews confuse being reserved with not bring warm, I find he is so warm though in his kind hearted consideration to his approach. If I have to do the 3rd surgery, he will be the first surgeon I reach out to. When I initially wanted to get a second opinion, he offered to take his findings to the NYU board to help infirm me more and give me the extraordinary benefit of their combined experience. He is incredible and extremely brilliant, while being human at the same time. I was won over and can't imagine going to any other orthopedic Dr. Ingrid runs the office and she is such a bright light from when you walk in the door. She makes every effort to facilitate getting you taken care of as quickly as possible. She was so helpful through my process with getting additional testing scheduled ASAP, and Alex her assistant would follow up diligently on any item discussed as needing more information. In short I felt a strong positive gut feeling for the Surgeons demeanor and approach and was impressed with the positive and proactive help from his office (which is excellently ) I could not be more thankful to have found Dr. Meere. Dr. Meere is a very skilled surgeon who answered all of my questions and concerns with knowledge and thoroughness. He did a great job on my hip replacement. He uses a minimally invasive technique that allows for faster recovery. I recommend him very highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Meere's since 2007, and highly recommend him. He is knowledgeable and caring, listens to his patient, spends time-you receive very individualized care. His office staff provides prompt follow-up. When I had knee replacement in 2007, I developed a post surgical complication 7 weeks later, and needed a revision...he came in to the hospital on a Saturday morning to perform emergency surgery. Even if there is a wait sometimes in his office, it is well worth it.

Last year i needed bi-lateral hip replacement and sought 3 opinions from 3 highly recommended surgeons. Without question upon meeting Dr.Patrick Meere my husband and I knew we had found the perfect match. Not only did Dr. Meere spend a generous amount of time with me for diagnosis but he continued to be attentively involved in every aspect of my pre-surgical, surgical and post surgical needs. All phone calls were returned promptly, all questions patiently answered, all scheduling etc.completely attended to by his terrfic staff.As a patient all I had to do was my job...no one else's and that was to heal and reclaim my life. I would refer Dr. Meere to anyone who needs hip or knee surgery. He and his staff are simply the best.
