Dr. Paul D Rogers, MD

Dr. Rogers is very straight forward and I loved him for that. My pregnancy was ultra high risk and he saved my and my baby's lives. Dr R. knows his stuff and he cares...although sometimes it seems like he's being blunt about things. But it's his way of driving home what he needs you to understand! My only regret is that he can't still be my doctor!

I don't care what anyone says this man changed my life and he really has no idea how grateful I am for him. I would honestly give him ten stars if I could. I used to have terrible cramps and backaches with every period to the point where I couldn't even go into work it was just that bad. I got referred to Dr. Rogers who then sent me to get some scans and that's when we saw them. I had 9 uterine fibroids. So in the middle of covid in 2020 when it was taking lives left and right we came to the conclusion that they had to go. Dr. Rogers did my myomectomy and I have never felt better. Thanks to him and awesome team (Jen at the Greenbelt MD office and his anesthesiologist John) I no longer need a heating pad, ibuprofens and diapers. Dr. Rogers I hope you are having a kick ass retirement because you deserve every minute of it even though I am sad because of it I really wanted you to deliver my first baby but nonetheless, again, super thankful for your service. You have touched my life in… ways I cannot write in this review. I wish you nothing but continued blessings for you and your family. Raisa

I had a terrible experience today. I will not go back. My appointment was at 10:30am, I arrived at 10:26am checked into the appointment app that I had arrived and completed the medical history questions. 1/2 hour later, when nobody alerted me to come in the office, I attempted to call a couple of times and the front office staff kept answering the phone quickly saying hello, hello and then hung up. I finally went into the office and the staff stated "Oh you were supposed to come in when you arrived, I said, I checked into the app as the email told me to do. they said Oh we can't see the app info. I said then why did you send me the app. She proceeded to give me another medical history questionnaire and I said I already answered these questions. She okay just sit down and we will call you....45 minutes later, I was so upset I asked if I was going to be seen today and the staff call to the back office and then said they are waiting for a room to be ready. I couldn't believe what… was going on. I finally was called back after 50 minutes and Nikki the nurse was very short as if she was annoyed at me, when I should have been, rightfully so, annoyed with the whole situation. Nikki took my blood pressure, which was high (I never had high blood pressure before and I was just seen by my 10yr Endocrinologist 3 wks ago) I told her it may be high because I was upset and she said NOTHING. She said you might want to see your Primary...I told her I didn't have a primary, that is why I was there. She then said, "you may want to call your Endocrinologist". I felt she was indicating that I was not going to be a regular patient at the office or didn't want me to be. I felt disgusted at the treatment I was being given. Dr. Roger's was fine and courteous and he was concerned about my pressure being high and wanted to have it checked again before I left. After my exam I was again waiting for my second blood pressure test and when Nikki returned she said "oh you can go". I said "the doctor wanted my pressure taken again" she said "oh yeah, that's right". I never felt so disregarded before in my life by a medical professional. I was recommended to this doctor by a relative, but I WILL NEVER return to this doctor again. If anyone cares about their time you might want to think twice before going to this office.

I am now in my last month of pregnancy- a geriatric pregnancy where we worried a lot about every little issue. Dr. Rogers never dismissed our concerns. He has been thoughtful and supportive of a healthy pregnancy from the first visit at five weeks, to my most recent visit at 36 weeks. His office staff are kind and courteous and can handle a busy front office. Folks seem happy to be there. This is the right environment for cultivating a new life. We are almost done and, although we have had some health challenges, we have always felt informed and supported. A great choice for an OB in Greenbelt.

I called Dr.Rogers to schedule an appointment due to terrible pain. He's been my doctor for over 14 years. Front desk staff Niki and other staff refused to schedule my appointment stating I would needed insurance information. I communicated I have been his patient for years and currently did not have my information but would like to schedule due to terrible pain. Staff refused and when asked to talk and or leave voicemail to Dr. Rogers they would not assist and refused to transfer call. I then requested his contact information for annapois location and or e-mail and that too was denied, lastly I asked for manager and they refused to transfer call. A patients health should be priority and as my doctor should not be denied the right to communicate with him...These staff members should not be allowed to treat patients and prevent patient communication with their doctors.

I started out as a patient of Dr. Scartascini's who then brought Dr. Rogers on to his staff and have never been happier about my treatment and advice. With my issues, over the past 30+ years, I have never been more satisfied with surgeries and treatments. Thank you Dr. Rogers, you are the BEST !!

Dr. Rogers' office did not fax my order for an ultrasound. I spoke to Dr. Rogers the morning of regarding the order request. He sounded inebriated over the phone. Initially, he offered to give a verbal order, which was not accepted by the facility. He then faxed over the wrong document. I called Dr. Rogers back to informed him that the facility would not accept that document and needed the appropriate order with his signature. He stated, "I have better things to do on a Saturday than talk to you...it must not be that urgent for you because its Saturday and now is when you are calling." However, I had been in communication with his office for 2 consecutive days before the appointment and followed their instructions that they would fax the order to the facility. Instead, of offering an alternative or apologizing that his office "dropped the ball" by not faxing the order, Dr. Rogers opted to go down the "inflated ego" route and disrespected me with his poor choice of words, crude, and… unprofessional behavior. I would not recommend any woman that is expecting to be seen by this physician, much less have to have such a distasteful encounter with him.

BEYOND THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING HE DID Dr rogers delivered three of my boys and couldn't be more please and happy he was by my side thru everything

Dr. Rogers has delivered both of my children, one vaginal & one c-section. I wouldn't change a thing about my experiences, he gives the best quality of care to mother & baby!

My first red flag should have been the conversation during an early prenatal visit, when he informed me that the only reason he is still in practice is to put his youngest child through school. My experience with him over the course of my pregnancy definitely reflected the lack of passion towards the care of women and babies. He was extremely rude and unempathetic towards my concerns with my pregnancy. I had terrible nausea and vomitting, and had actually lost 30 lbs by the end of my pregnancy. He was completely unconcerned, even referenced slaves and holocaust victims saying they didn't eat any food and their babies came out fine. He refused to intervene with anything until I visited the ER repeatedly. Eventually he referred me to a high risk dr, at 34 weeks who thought ny case was VERY urgent. I ended up going into labor, after being hospitalized for a week naturally at 35 weeks exactly .... and delivered. Throughout my stay his bedside manner was awful, he even said to… me at one point, after declining a VERY high risk surgery, "There's nothing else I can do for you, what do you want me to do?" to an extremely weak and pregnant woman. I would NEVER recommend this particular doctor to anyone, though my interactions with Dr. Graham and Dr. Scartasini were pleasant.
