Dr. Paul Hernan Gamarnik, MD

He is a top notch doctor! He is highly responsive, caring, has an excellent bedside manner and is extremely knowledgeable about any medical issue. He has treated me for some medical issues over the last couple of years, and has always made me feel hopeful about what needs to be done. A great listener and someone who really enjoys interacting with his patients. He really understands how stressed out a patient might be about various medical issues, and does an outstanding job helping them deal with the stress as well as the medical issue. He is a really intelligent guy, but he also has a great sense of humor.

Avoid this guy and disregard any/all positive reviews that Optum has written themselves/"self-published" (where he works now was formerly Caremount Medical:both in Mt Kisco, NY) Paul Gamarnik had grossly misdiagnosed me, and the same with other patients too, In my case, his misdiagnosis was subsequently shocking. He brushed off something potentially life threatening thinking it was something very minor/ non-serious. He went to a second-tier medical school overseas. Please note this review is honest. He should not be practicing medicine......anywhere and on anyone.

After suffering for 3 months, my husband switched his primary care doctor. Dr Gamarnik is a great diagnostician and assured us he would be aggressive in his work up. He treated my husband with respect, was compassionate and now my daughter will see him as her primary. That you, Dr Gamarnik!

I felt Dr. Gamarnik took his time and really listened to my health concerns. Other doctors can make you feel rushed.

Dr Gamarnik is an intelligent, empathetic doctor. He came up with my diagnosis and his treatment worked well for me. You are in good hands with him. Also he's one of the few doctors in st barnabas who speaks spanish.
