Dr. Paul Matthew Andrews, MD

Dr. Andrews is ok. The problem comes to light when his interpretation of your visit is transcribed to notations for your file. I have found some inconsistencies and errors afterwards. Contacting the office to have these errors and inconsistencies corrected is mind-boggling. After a long unsuccessful attempt, what I was told by an RN there was that they were on 2 RN's taking care of everything. That they were overworked and understaffed. That the DR. may call me (he never did). In the end the errors remain and I decided it is time to find another practice. Errors and inconsistencies left on your electronic chart can be very dangerous if you should need medical attention at a hospital.

His office staff are rude and have an attitude. When I walked in, an african american receptionist with a cold face said 'you did not follow the sign. go back!' But there was no sign saying 'taking temperature' etc. After checking in I asked 'I'd like to have your name please." but the response was 'you don't need to know my name'. The person scheduling appointment is odd and there were awkward silence. When I said I was waiting for her to respond she impatiently said 'I am waiting for you' a couple of times. Very odd. She does not like her job. why letting out attitude on a poor patient trying to schedule an appointment.

He is a judgmental fake doctor. He says one thing but thinks a different thing about you. He spent 15 min with me and judged me number one because of my age. He made a conclusion based on the first visit for 15 min. He is one of the reasons why people get misdiagnosed and judged. He does not help just judge. I am leaving the cardiology group because of him. I just hope that one day his children don't have to go through anything and they get judged by a doctor like him. I believe in karma and it will definitely catch up with him. Disgusting, he couldn't say something to me but wrote it in my chart for everyone else to judge me before they even meet him. A disgrace to be called a doctor.

I guess you have to be an elderly person for him to take you seriously. He made a great judgment about his patient who was younger and he saw for the first time not knowing full medical history. He is one of the reasons why people get misdiagnosed and brushed off. I am not going to the practice anymore only because of him and things he documented in the chart only speaking to me for 15 minutes.

I just wish there were more stars available to give Dr Andrews, he's very knowledgeable and compassionate, we can only say great things about him.

Was a wonderful experience with Doctor Paul Andrews. He put both my wife and myself at ease regarding the upcoming procedure. In doing so he spent time with us and was very assuring. We cannot stop talking about him and our great experience with him.

Dr Andrews is sharp, puts a patient at ease. He knows exactly what the problem is with a patient and attends to the diagnosis with efficiency and effectiveness. I never met Dr. Andrews before being admitted to Hackensack Hospital and I bless the day he entered my life. He takes my calls & one time when he was on vacation, his nurse took my information, contacted him & he immediately got back to her with a response to my problem. May he be practicing for many years to come.

Dr Andrews is full of Charm ,cheerful and gifted without egoism. He is loved by his peers and always heard good things about him from Nurses and staff while in the Hospital.He has great compassion , good leadership qualities and sensitive to others feelings.

I loved the doctor, and felt very comfortable with him. however, his staff is incompent and rude. Tried for two days to get a refill on a medicaiton for my heart called in. The first day I tried leaving the refill request on their recording, which is meant specifically for that - nothing happened. The next day I called three times, since I was out of the medication; I was put on hold for 10 minutes, then disconnected. The second time the same thing happened; the third time I finally got to talk to someone, who was rude and told me that the refill had been called in. I then called the drug store and the drug store said they had never heard from the doctor's office. I called again, asked to speak directly to the doctor, and was told "no." Too bad because I would like to have used Dr. Andrews, but I can't put up with his staff.
