I came to Dr. Friedman after a fraxel burn around my mouth from a plastic surgeon. It was red, lumpy, tight, itchy and uncomfortable. He offered vbeam treatments to minimize the scarring and help with the other issues. I have had 18 treatments and it is all almost gone. He has truly given me my life back. I was experiencing depression and anxiety and he gave me hope. Thank you Dr. Friedman for treating me! I would highly recommend this doctor for similar experiences.

I was referred to Dr. Friedman for vbeam treatment for rosacea and enlarged blood vessels. I had 3 sessions after the test and each time I noticed marked improvement! The office is beautiful and the staff were always pleasant! Dr. Friedman has excellent bedtime side manner - very friendly, positive and knowledgeable! I trusted his expertise and was not disappointed in the outcome!

I was hesitant at first to have anyone touch my face. Then, I met the fantastic Dr Paul Friedman. Dr. Friedman, the nurses and every professional I came into contact with at the Dermatology and Laser Surgery Center in Houston were nothing short of professional, polished, and put my mind at ease immediately. The facility was beautiful; pristine and modern, with amazing views of Houston’s impressive medical hub. All the machines used are kept with obvious care. I was never rushed and was continuously checked in on throughout my visit. Dr. Friedman and the amazing nurses and staff made sure I completely understood my after-care regiment and plan, and I’m beyond pleased with my results.

As a breast cancer survivor, I was initially thrown a curve ball when I realized that following my mastectomy and the removal of lymph nodes, I was no longer allowed to use a razor to remove hair from under my arms. Wax removal was also not advised. Because lymph nodes had been removed, my doctors wanted nothing that could potentially cut or nick the skin or cause an ingrown hair or other source of infection. With part of my underarm rendered numb from the mastectomy and lymph node removal, there was no way to shave without risk of a nick. However, my treating doctors (MD Anderson and a private plastic surgeon doing reconstruction) agreed that I could use laser hair removal to remove the hair. One of my doctors referred me to Dr. Paul Friedman's Dermatology & Laser Surgery Center. I was initially worried about how my arm would respond to laser treatment as I didn't personally know any breast cancer survivors who had tried this, and my underarm remained tender following all of my… surgeries. I tried this and was happy to see it worked wonderfully!! I've now had 3 sessions, with nothing but wonderful results. Martina at Dr. Friedman's office is 100% professional and an expert at laser treatment. She was also patient and kind in dealing with all of my questions and uncertainties. Before she began treatment on me, however, everything was checked and approved by a physician at this center. This center knows what they are doing and made this experience the best it could be. I now want to laser everywhere and don't know why I didn't do it years earlier. It's much better than repeatedly shaving and waxing (and also cheaper in the long run)! I can't believe it took cancer to come to that realization.

My daughter has been through 7 treatments from Dr. Friedman and his team we drive 4 hrs one way for his specialty. We got many other consultations before deciding on going with Dr Friedman. His office also sent pictures with another parents permission to help us with this very nerve racking decision to treat our daughters leg which includes anesthesia every time. We have the same nurse during the procedure every time and she's great with our now 3 yr old. They don't rush the waking up time, anesthesiologist is specially for peds. They even use ice packs right after to reduce any swelling. They take great care of us from start to finish. We got an honest opinion on her leg and number of treatments. I work in the medical field so, I didn't just trust anyone to my baby. The results have been amazing many less treatments than expected & a better result than anticipated. My daughter's leg which is rare for a port wine stain would be a challenge to treat effectively due to how far away from… the heart it is. Dr Friedman has done an excellent job and keeps up-to-date on his skills with lazer treatment allowing him to successfully treat my daughter's whole right leg and foot. This has been the miracle and blessing we have prayed for. Dont hesitate to set up a meeting with him for treatments he is exceptinally good at what he does. With much love and respect, The Logans

I would recommend Dr. Friedman to any of my family or friends without hesitation . He is highly trained, quite professional with his patients and seems to be sincerely interested in helping them reach their goals. His staff was polite and attentive to my concerns and comfort.

Dr. Friedman and his staff are excellent. Your greeted with a friendly smile and everyone is so informative. I have been going to Dr. Friedman off and on for several years and have been satisfied with all of my visits. He's an excellent and caring doctor and has a great bedside manner. I would recommend any of my friends and family to use him for their dermatology needs.
