Dr. Paul Mccrary Long, MD

Dr. long is an outstanding physical. In addition to his excellent level of competence, he spends the necessary time to know his patients. His bedside manner is the best that I have experienced. I recommend him without reservation.

Main nurse- you never know- may be friendly or bite your head off.. Rest of staff are very friendly

I like the knowledge that Dr. Long has accumulated. He is a Doctor that is constantly learning. He takes time with you and will Follow Through when you have a problem. I think he is forward thinking and a terrific Doctor.

Dismissive, is only an understatement. My father went to Dr Long with continuing and unexplained sickness...only to be given one pill after another to mask his sickness. He never took him serious with his symptoms .After seeing another Dr and having the appropriate test ran, it was determined he had cancer that had spread so bad that he only had a few weeks to live. If treatment had began earlier, he could have lived longer.He must have a real ear wax problem, because he cleaned his ears out during our appt also. How professional is that ?

After a friend's referral to Dr. Long, a same day appointment was effected for my octogenarian relative. A correct diagnosis was made by Dr. Long immediately, and after 3 years of ineffective treatment by others, patient's condition was accurately pinpointed, and immediate surgery to correct was proscribed. Instant surgical referral also.

Dr. Long spends a good half hour with me explaining his actions and diagnoses. He's been right on the money for the last six years as my primary physician.

Dr Long is an excellent doctor. He was my doctor for more than 15 years. I would go back to Hilton Head after I had moved because I have never found another doctor like him. He is thorough with this questions and tests. He actually listens and makes you comfortable enough so you can remember all of the things you had planned to say before you got there. He spends more time with you on a visit than most doctors do in 5. Unfortunately I have finally moved too far away to see him regularly but he is the one I want managing my care if I ever find out that something dreadful is wrong with me. Wherever I am at the time, I will be in Hilton Head as quickly as possible - unless I can convince him to come to me:) I have complete trust and confidence in him. I have been looking for five years for another doctor. No luck yet.
