Dr. Paul Laurence Margulies, MD

I have been a patient since 1984. He is always on time, gives you his full attention and genuinely cares about his patients. I have recommended him to others and all have been very positively impressed.

I've been going to Dr Margulies for a nodule on my thyroid for 40 years. He has never kept me waiting for an appointment and always gave me total respect and spent as much time as I needed with him. If I had any problem other than thyroid related he was more than happy to sit down with me and discuss my options. My thyroid has been under control during the entire time I've seen Dr Margulies. I have highly recommended him too many of my friends and everyone who has gone to him thanked me. When I've had terrible health issues he would sit and talk to me about them and lead me in the necessary direction to solve my problems. I never had a doctor who would do that for me. He also advised me on how to help my father when he was sick and how to help my husband when he was sick. He is one in a million. And I will always be thankful but he is my Dr.

Dr. Margulies is a caring, competent professional. He takes the time to discuss all issues regarding ones health. I feel fortunate to be a patient of his.

He is strange. He does not listen to you! What you have to say does not matter! Hated him!

Dr. Margulies is always on time and his office is calm and organized. However, if you have any sort of difficult or unusual problem he is not the best at listening. He is a nice man and I do believe he cares about his patients but I find him very dismissive if your symptoms are not text book and you want to discuss them in any way.

Dr. Margulies is a nice man. He is knowledgeable, but his knowledge is from 1975. He is set in his ways and is stuck in the past. I have Hashimoto's and Hypothyroidism and was his patient for 3 years. I saw no improvement in my condition and every time I would mention anything to him that was new, or that I wanted to talk about,he would shoot me down tell me to just be patient. I was patient for 3 years. I wanted him to do something because whatever he was doing wasn't working. I still had ALL the symptoms I had when I first saw him. Unfortunately, he's in his own world. He's a very nice man like I said, that's probably why I stayed so long, but if you're looking for a doctor that grows with and continues to educate himself for the sake of his patients, he's not the doctor.

He is the best endocrinologist and most caring. He returns phone calls and honestly knows what he is talking about him.
