Dr. Paul Thomas Martinelli, MD

I had a basal cell removed from the tip of my nose & of course was concerned about chipping the end of my nose off! After surgery/ skin graft & dermabrsion you can hardly tell it happened!! I’m amazed & would recommend 100%!!

I have had 6 different skin tumors removed in 2019 by Dr. Martinelli and usually his nurse Paola. Always done perfectly. His entire staff are always cordial and very competent at their jobs. I call Dr. Martinelli the "Maestro of Microsurgery" ! Always called me personally to see how I was doing. What doctor does that kind of personal touch. Highly recommend!

I don't usually write comments on a website about a doctor, but I really wanted to in this case. I went to see Dr. Martinelli after my dermatologist told me I had a skin cancer. I was very nervous because I just moved to Frisco and didn't know who to go to. I lived in Austin for 34 years, and I went to the same doctor for years until he sold his practice to one of those corporate groups and I was not happy with how things were there - even the office manager left. My dermatologist reassured me that Dr. Martinelli still owned his own practice and she even told me that she would send her own family to Dr. Martinelli. At my church bingo club, I found out my neighbor's son had gone to Dr. Martinelli about a basal cell cancer when he was 35 years old and was very happy with his results. Anyway, I had my cancer removed and from start to the end everything was the best experience I could hope for. His secretary was kind to help me fill out some of my paperwork because I left my reading… glasses at home. His nurse was really nice and helped go over my home care. But I am most greatful that Dr. Martinelli took a lot of time to make me feel comfortable about my procedure and answered my questions without rushing me. I wish more doctors were like Dr. Martinelli. He called me at home at the end of the day to see if I needed anything. My wife had a few questions, so he talked to her too. I hope I don't get another skin cancer, but if I do, I will go back to see Dr. Martinelli because he took such great care of an old man like me.

I have been going to Dr Martinelli for several years. I have had several Basal cell carcinoma and Squamous cell carcinomas removed. I just had a Superficial melanoma removed. He is the most kind and caring person. His office staff and nurses are just as kind and are very good.

Dr. Paul Martinelli and his staff are awesome! His kindness and expertise, his bedside manner, and gift as a surgeon are truely a 'gift' if you have skin cancer. He worked me into a already full schedule after my biopsy came back as Melanoma. Dr. Martinelli called after both my surgurys' same day to check on me. Gave his personal phone number, and was very informative in regards' to my problems' with getting and staying numb. If you need a caring doctor, one that treats' you with respect and knows' his specialty, this is your guy. Wish I could give more than 5 stars', he is that good!

My dermatologist sent me to Dr. Martinelli to remove a skin cancer. He's so nice and patient. My husband had a bunch of questions about my after surgery care. And the nurse and Dr. Martinelli were both so helpful. They gave me some extra packing materials since we lived so far away and weren't sure we would make it to drug store before they closed. Now my wound looks great - nobody can tell I even had surgery there.

I had skin cancer 4 years ago and went to another Mohs surgeon, who I later learned was NOT fellowship trained, who left a bigger scar than I expected. When I found out I had another basal cell carcinoma, my friend from church recommended Dr. Martinelli when. I am so glad I went to Dr. Martinelli because he is so nice. He listened to me and knew exactly how to help me. I never felt rushed by anyone at his office. His nurse was very patient and explained my bandage care to me. Dr. Martinelli also provided his personal mobile number, so I could call if anything came up. I didn't have any problems, but he still called me that evening to make sure I was ok. I am planning to bring some cookies to the office because they did such a great job taking care of me. I wish he could be my cardiologist too.

Excellent care from the staff and provider. Dr. Martinelli made his incision carefully so as to minimize scarring. Bedside manner is professional, courteous but caring.

Dr. Martinelli is extremely personable. Following his diagnosis of my condition my options were provided in a very understandable manner. His nurse was very efficient and comforting. I would definitely recruit his services in the future, should the need arise
