He was honest about what could realistically be done to create a natural-looking hair transplant for my husband. He didn't make false-promises & try to sell us on a mega-session. He explained that he creates a conservative hairline now, so that it looks natural years later. And should my husband want another surgery years later, he will be able to comfortably make that choice (time will tell). It's reassuring to know he made the right decision to have the hair transplant surgery with an ethical and professional physician.

After botched hair transplants by Bosley and another provider who is no longer in business, I was forced to wear hairpieces for 25 years to hide the scarring and the obviousness of the transplants. 22 years ago, I consulted with Dr. McAndrews, but opted for a procedure with New Hair Institute because NHI was a lot cheaper. The results were better than my previous transplants, but still disappointing. I figured "that's as good as it gets with hair transplants" and just gave up and continued to wear hairpieces. Not choosing Dr. McAndrews then was a huge mistake. A few years ago, reading nothing but positive reviews of Dr. McAndrews and seeing the widespread respect for him on hair loss forums, I returned to Dr. McAndrews for a transplant. After only one procedure, in which he added density and corrected much of the damage from my previous transplants, I was able to throw my hairpieces away. After two more procedures, my hair looks natural and surprisingly dense. Now I spend only 3… minutes styling my hair after getting out of the shower and can travel and go swimming, all without the hassles and potential embarrassment of a hairpiece. Thank you, Dr. McAndrews!

Went there very concerned about my hair loss since he has the reputation as the best hairtransplant surgeon. He stopped me from having surgery (even though several other surgeons told me I should have surgery and tried to get a deposit). He told me to get on the medical therapies (finasteride and minoxidil) since that's what's urgent and we can talk about hair transplants in the future.

After a visit with Dr. McAndrews, my husband can't keep away! Dr. McAndrews made some minor corections, explained the small procedure, and wa-la-LA! I am a NEW me! Love the skin care and can't wait to see Dr. McAndrews again!

I went for a consult and was very unhappy with the visit. He is very arrogant! Sent 2 minutes with me (I checked on my watch) and left before I could get a question in. Seems like he wants to see as many people as he can to make money and the person doesn't count at all. I will never go back!
