Dr. Murphy was great and helped me when I really needed help. He is patient and listens to you, not talk at you

My experience with Dr. Murphy was nothing but positive. He truly cared about my health issues. He took the necessary time to find out what was going on with me. He set up a game plan we agreed on making me feel there is some hope. He is an all around nice guy who truly cares. I would highly recommend

I have absolutely zero words. My "psychiatrist" Dr. Paul Murphy is completely unprofessional and I don't know how or why he still has his medical license. I met with him this past Monday needing to discuss my current state and medications, and also to get on some new medication for my mental health. First of all, his office is a mess – patient questionnaires are scattered all over the place. He didn't fully go through my papers before seeing me and immediately took off his mask when we were both sitting down in the room. I told him about the current symptoms I'd been having and the trauma I had gone through. When asking about my trauma, he asked deeply personal and insensitive questions and didn't try to ease into the subjects. Blunt and careless. He prescribed me a mood stabilizer and also upped my antidepressant dosage. I was just happy to finally get on something that could potentially really benefit me. Of course, the first few days I didn't feel any differently because this was a… new medication. Then, for the last couple of nights I haven't been able to sleep. During the day I have shortness of breath, a dry mouth, fast pounding of the heart, and my anxiety is through the roof. I then contact my pharmacist and tell them about my current situation. They tell me to IMMEDIATELY stop taking this new mood stabilizer – this specific mood stabilizer and my current antidepressant are NOT supposed to be taken with one another. You'd think someone in this field would at least have the decency to CHECK before doing something like this to a patient – or at least KNOW. Paul Murphy needs his medical license taken away from him. He is unprofessional, insensitive, and has zero regards for his patients. He made me feel so utterly uncomfortable the entire duration of the appointment. Trust your gut and trust your body.

Wow, night and day experience. Unfortunately he was made my dr via workcomp. I didn't know I could switch drs. My attorney was Randy Mason then Alisha Hoffmen worked hard to keep me with Murphy. Wish I knew these attorneys have been reported for taking bribes from insurance companie. Nor did I know Murphy is one of 8 preferred drs by insurance companies. He will write reports the way the insur a nice company wants. He needs that because his a pita full surgion (could not maintain a practuce without insurance compnaies help), murphy butchered my shoulder. As my primary dr and surgion repeatedly said it was fine I was attention seeking. Finally with private insurance support I was able to get it a real surgion to look at it. Turns out murphy on purpose tied down the muscles and tendons in the shoulder left a metal pin in the shoukder cuff (carved out thr humeral head), and as if that was not enough damage he reattached My shoulder wrong, so far forward moving sliced the labrum in… half. This surgion is not anyone you want to give responsibility to.

In all of the years I've been going to this office, I have never once seen the doctor, always an assistant. Called after hours regarding a medical emergency and spoke to Dr. Murphy's wife. She was extremely rude and dismissive. No regard for patients at this office.
