Dr. Paul Laurence Prendiville

Dr. Prendiville and his staff are very disrespectful of your time. If you have no place to go and nothing to do and thus have infinite time to run to multiple appts at multiple locations, then by all means go to Dr. Prendiville. However, if you do have a life and want to get your eye care covered in less than 3 visits, consider the many options in OC where they can complete all your testing in 1 visit. Now, to get my medical records for my new doctor, they insisted that I had to get the form in person or they would snail mail it, no email option! Then I need to return the signed form to their office and then return yet again to pick up the records! When I moved myself and my dad to OC, ALL of our doctors allowed us to get our medical records through email or online! These guys are stuck in the 1950s! When I went to pick up the form 10min after talking to them on the phone, I got there to find the office closed! Perhaps most important, they not kind and I always leave feeling upset!!

my grandfather had cataracts and they accepted our insurance. We were assured that it was a very common surgery, he had been doing it for a long time, and he was also from USC, so we went ahead with it. Right after the surgery there were a lot of problems, which he said are common but improve. After a couple visits like that, we got suspicious, so I took him to another eye surgeon on our own, who showed us scan pictures and explained the serious damage that Dr. Prendiville botched. He was nice enough at our appointment, and the ladies at the desk were nice, but I would not recommend Dr. Prendiville to anyone or their families, because eye sight is a serious matter, and because he is lousy surgeon. I am not trying promote others doctors here, my point is to warn people to avoid Dr Prendiville, especially since there are so many others who can do a good job at surgery where it actually counts.

I had a suspicious growth on my lower eyelid that was literally getting bigger everyday. I got an appointment with Prendiville, and it was downhill from there. He spent less than 5 minutes with me and miss-diagnosed the growth on my eye. He told me to come back in 6 weeks and see his plastic surgeon. 6 weeks! It was getting bigger by the day but he could really care less. Next day I went to a local dermatologist, they removed the growth in 10 minutes and I was out the door. I'd never recommend him.

Dr. PRENDIVLLE has been treating my glaucoma for over 20 yrs. with surgeries and drops taking care of my vision. I am forever greatful to him for his kindness and good care. I highly recommend him and his wonderful staff, very professional. They have become family.

He butchered simple cataract surgery. Not just mine but also other people I met. Unfortunately I found out too late. Do not make same mistake I did.

Dr. Prendeville is a skilled practitioner who is fast, thorough, and very professional.

Rude office staff, had a problem getting a girl in the office to call in my prescription to Costco. Said it was illegal. Come on! It's not a narcotic.... come on.

My parents had gone to him and later I did as well. He is excellent and I feel 100% confidence in his abilities as a doctor.

Dr. Prendiville's staff worked me in immediately whenI told them I was seeing black spots. The doctor examined me for a retinal problem. He was extremely informative and caring, and I highly recommend him.
