He is also Chief of the Division of Spinal Surgery, Director of the Louis A. Goldstein Fellowship in spinal Surgery and Associate Chair of Orthopaedics for Clinical Affairs. Dr. Rubery received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery, New York. Dr. Rubery completed fellowship training at the University of Rochester. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Rubery's special interests include scoliosis, complex spinal reconstruction, minimally invasive spine surgery and tumors and trauma of the spine.
